Can't access Runescape.com

Featured Replies

Hey, I have a strange problem, it's probably common but it's a little annoying.

I simply cannot access Runescape.com, I can get on all other sites including Tip.It obviously.

Whenever I try to get on Runescape I get this...

This just happened yesterday morning...

I've tried using a different browser but I can't get Runescape on this computer!

I'd love you forever if you can help me fix this problem.

Could try clearing your DNS cache. Go to start >> Run >> type cmd and hit enter >> a black windows called command prompt should appear, now type ipconfig /flushdns and press enter. You could also try to ping runescape.com by going back into command prompt and typing ping runescape.com ans see if any packets are lost. If it continues try clearing cache in your browser. It could also be your ISP.

Expanding on this... You may also wish to try a "nslookup http://www.runescape.com", and then connecting after that. :-k

BTW, if this persists, check your "hosts" file for an entry or two that might say something like "127.0.0.1 http://www.runescape.com" ... If you have that, then it means that either someone was pulling an April Fools' Joke on you a few months late, or you've got an anti-RS virus on your computer. :(

Which, for the heck of it, would you please run anti-virus/anti-spyware scans, please? :-s
