June 26, 200521 yr Hi i have a dimention 2400 desktop from Dell. I dunno if i spelled it right. It came with an integrated extreme graphics card.. Well I want a better card. I hear this is pci. I found a card i like. 256 mb geforce fx6000 or something like that. It is also pci. How do i go about installing it? and can i with this computer>? thanks
June 26, 200521 yr You can install a video card if it's pci. I'm sure someone has a good tutorial, so I won't bother with that. My comment is that you should post the exact details of the card. A celeron machine with 256MB of system ram probably wouldn't need a card with 256MB... I think depending on the card you can step down a bit and get the same performance. PCI is a big limiting factor and so is the lack of system ram and speed...

But as you pointed out, it's rather impossible to tell without better information...
