gadien01
Note: Came up with this on the fly- please keep that in mind Well wouldn't it be instresting to be able curse items or have them exist. If you cursed an item say like a mage or prayer skill that person's weapon wouldn't be able to be removed, or it would be like instead of having dragon stats it has rune. Or quest where there is a very powerful weapon/armour but its cursed and there is a quest to remove the curse at the cost of having some of it powe removed. Example for a weapon (long sword): Has att 7 above dragon but takes away def when equiped. After curse is removed power goes to 3 below dragon but it hits a little faster because it lighter. gadien01
*Raises eyebrow suspiciously* Did you take that idea off Illusia? Sorry, never heard of that game. But this idea is deeply inbedded in rpg games because most rpgs are somewhat derrived grom D&D.
BlackKnightVeng3nce
I don't really think players should be able to curse items, but i do think they should have cursed items only thing is cursed items cause flaw or like from some other rpgs i've played (not D&D) cursed items can't be unequiped or dropped unless you took them to a sage. But hey.....that's just my knowledge about cursed items.

Alley_Oops
One question.. What you bought a brand new chain for 30m and then it gets cursed. If it has the sames stats as a rune plate then you basicly lost 29.25m and you have a rune plate that looks like a drag chain. Wouldn't that be cool? lpinkus
Yup. Which is why nothing like this would happen unless JAGeX was very, very careful about it. lpinkus
Domovoi
No thanks, it'd be pain in the wagon if you paid a ton of cash for one of those lvl70+ sets and then it gets cursed, making a huge waste of money. So no. Domovoi123-Level 80 f2pNoxious 0ne-Level 46 f2p

I didn't say they wouldn't be a way to uncurse items. And I didn't think people would like that mages could curse their items. Pehaps i should of said that all spells would be temporary and that the quest for "cursed" items was just a way of adding new items into the game.
