Hey everyone, as many of you may know, I'm going for 99 Fletching, I started at level 72 about 3 - 4 Weeks ago, and I'm currently level 90. Now, all I require is some suggestions on profitable Fletching xp. Now, I realize most people want to get it done fast; BUT, I don't usually have very much cash, but I can make some. So if anyone has any ideas on how to make money while getting moderately good Fletching xp, that'd be fantastic.

I think the only way to make money fletching bows is to cut your own logs (getting your own flax and spinning it might also allow for some profit, but I'm not sure).

 

 

 

EDIT: Bolts are expensive; darts are the same; arrows are going to cost money (not sure how much); and crossbows are also expensive.

 

 

 

You pretty much can't make money off of fletching unless you get some of your own supplies.

The only thing I can think of right now is making yew longs. If you buy the log and bow string, youll make 34gp profit each bow. But you could always spin your own flax and cut your own yews.

 

 

 

I'm 91 Fletching atm and I was going to buy maples and fletch them into Maple Longs (u) and sell them (I hear people buy them? :s ). You dont make profit off of it, but you dont lose much either.

 

 

 

If you buy Magic logs at a good price, you can make profit off of them and they're pretty good exp.

I think, *THINK* my friend either:

 

 

 

1. Buy magic (u) and string

 

or

 

2. Buy magic logs, cut and string

 

 

 

Yew longs do well too, but mage longs win in xp.

 

 

 

Either way earned a nice 3gp per one :) . They also auto-sold.

 

Good for alching too I guess.

 

 

 

Other than this, feathering the highest bolts you can is good, bowz. :)

Well if you buy the Magic logs at a good, low price you should be fine.... I tried buying magic logs yesterday and got em at lowest...Wait, do mage longs sell at medium? If so, try it. If not, well then im just gonna shut up and call it a day. :-#
