Hey, i've just started doing barrows and am on my 6th trip. The only reason I am doing this is boredom and because I need some cash (drunk, alched whips, nuff said).

 

 

 

So far i've accumulated 300k in runes, 60k in bolt racks, loop half key and Guthans helm (both rares in same trip).

 

 

 

On average I use: 5 monks, 6 prayer doses (prayer full at start), 2 def pot doses, 2 str pot doses.

 

 

 

 

This is my current setup and inventory.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have:

 

75 Attack

 

73 Strength

 

75 Defense

 

76 Hitpoints

 

56 Prayer

 

 

 

 

 

What additions/changes could I make to my set up that will improve efficiency, if any?

 

The drops so far give me 1.2M to spend on any upgrades. Although some will be going towards potions etc.

Bring sup atts too. And maybe some sharks incase.

I don't feel I need the sharks, cost 1k each and only heal 4hp more than the 340gp monkfish.

 

 

 

And super attack potions I was considering, as I make about 30k+ profit on every single trip anyway. So i'll try to get a few of those when I next stock up.

Way too many prayer pot doses. At 60 prayer, I only pray at DH, Kharil, and Verac (If I have any left).

 

 

 

If I get hurt, it usually isn't too bad. Remember, it's ok to get hit, and not pray, because they have HORRIBLE accuracy. I ran out of prayer on dharok before, he was red-barred, and he didn't hit me.

 

 

 

You should be fine with 1 dose of prayer or so, try some different thins.

I only pray on Dharok (Upon entry, so no doses), Ahrim and Karil.

 

Then occasionaly on the others when they get my hp down.

 

 

 

 

 

But did you read the text or the image? Those pots last me about 3 trips.

Why do you have so much empty space? are you only doing one or two chests/trip?

 

 

 

You have too many prayer potions if so: that's how many I would bring for 10 or so chests.

 

 

 

I really wouldn't recommend Veracing until 80+ melees: you would likely perform better with a salamander or something.

 

 

 

You might want to try pineapple pizzas: they're 600 or so apiece and heal 22/slot.

 

 

 

Super attacks are a NECESSITY while veracing: you'll notice the difference, trust me.

Yeah, I can only manage 2-3 per trip. :oops:

 

 

 

And you must have considerably better stats than me.

 

 

 

Verac'ing seemed the most cost efficient, with making 30k+ profit every trip.

 

Although the salamander seems costly.

Sure, why not.

Personally, I'd put a potral room in my house, with a Kharyrll Teleport, and an alter right next to it. Speeding up trips. (And instead of varrock teleport tabs, house tabs)

 

 

 

I'd also bring super attacks, and full inventory of sharks, this way you can get more chests per trip, and lower the amount of time used not killing the brothers.

Faster trips.

 

 

 

1 - 50 construction only costs 500k, and you'll cut down on non-barrows time by ten.

Level 50 construction to build a portal, and I think 45 for a portal. And if you haven't done desert treasure, do it for the canifis teleport, really helps out with barrowing.

Nevermind. I don't feel like doing Desert Treasure as of yet, thus no house teleport.

Would this set up be considerably better inventory-wise?
