October 14, 200817 yr Authors Note: Its been a long while since I wrote the Lost Library, which I was going to write until I could find nothing else to write about on the subject. Along the way, people joined in the story, and it became a pretty large story. BUt then, the crash came, destroying my story, which left me to write some crappy other versions. So, as you might've expected, I was furious when I lost the story that perhaps was the appex of my writings here. It basically showed a different side of me, that I can be gritty and real, minus the really bad satire. And, I have written tons of stuff in between, and nothing has piqued my fancy as much as The Lost Library. Thats pretty much why most of my stuff has a chapter, and then dwindles off into the second page. Ironic, the Lost Library, was Lost. So, I am trying to write something to fix that blank spot, and find something worthwhile that can replace my story that I thought was the only worthwhile thing I had wrote. Snake and Noob was one of my favorites to write, but when you compare it to my writing today, that stuff was just what I built upon. What I mean by that is that I was trying hard to make Snake and Noob something it was not. I started working on comedy, which led to some somewhat funny moments, and some really badly written and impossibly bad moments. Then I worked toward making it more serious, which was a joke in itself. Though it was all right, it was WAY to violent, and the plot tried to be something it was not: GOOD! By the end of Snake and Noob, I was bored, it was O.K for a beginer I guess, but did not involve anything that piqed the fancy of more mature readers. I then wrote spin offs, which for some reason, ended up being better than the main story. They were funnier, and were a bit more seriously written. And here I thought people were more ready for my stories to continue! So I wrote a new chapter of Snake and Noob at school, a long and more exciting one, that the teacher deleted! I was so mad, but I went home and wrote something to replace it, and found out, it was crap. With Snake and Noob over, I wrote a slew of other works, finally settling on The Lost Library later. I liked it, it had tons of likeable characters, was action packed, was gritty, and had a good story. And to think, I just wrote it because I wanted to write a MAtrix rip off! Thus, months later, I decide to write something new. What you might ask? Something exciting and gripping and another story that will end in a day? No, I give you a new Lost Library, to replace the old one. I give you book one of a trilogy, each based on a character. BOOK 1: Sins BOOK 2: Retribution BOOK 3: War These three feature all characters, though Book 1 focuses on Archimage and his work at the Lost Library as well as his meeting with Xewleer, his discovery of the Crystal Cult, and his meeting with various other characters, ending with a surprise battle. Book 2 focuses on Ratchet (No more info) Book 3 focuses on Blue Jay (No more info) If I left you out, there is room for many, I know Hawkxs might wanna join, and anyone else that is left out can give a bio, and hope to god I do not have some sinister plans for your beloved character (if your new, ask anyone, they will tell you my characters go to hell and beyond, I am like a fictional character torturer if that makes any sense). O.K, long note, might want to start so I do not piss off people who are wanting to read this and not the stupid things the author has to say (If you read this, please tell me, it shows me you care...really, I know someone is going to skip this and go to the story, but to tell you the truth, I could say something here pertaining to the story or have a life lesson in here...so if you read this, you get a cookie, and a non-ignorance badge to go right on your Varrock Library vest). (Yes there was a morale in this. Never give up trying, because you will get better and better...and never write a story like Snake and Noob...EVER!) So, the story will be here in a little while, just keep refreshing for the next hour until you see it..!

October 14, 200817 yr Author BOOK 1: SINS Prologue _____________ The Lost Library stood on a very small island. All it held was the library, and a bit of beach. The islands North side went upward, creating a sheer cliff that led out from the water. The Lost Library lay on this cliff, giving it a lopsided appearance. The library itself was a tower, and the underground parts were built into the cliff. A veranda poked out, over the cliff, and had a couple umbrellas over some wooden tables. It just looked like a plain tower to the normal eye though...An old lighthouse that had not been used for centuries. To the eye of the chosens and gods, it looked like an arena, its top part roofed with a beautiful painting of the gods. It sat in the middle of the ocean, a small stretch of sand spouting from a large door, the entrance. The veranda was still there though, and lay over the ocean, and deep down inside the library, there was an observation deck, and an aquarium, where some unnamable beasts lay. The library was huge. The first floor started with a short entryway, which led into a huge, circular room, the whole size of the library. It held dozens of bookcases, that went in a circle, that went around a podium, holding a book in some sort of bloody glass. And then there was a long wall that stretched to the center, and was caved out at the part facing the book. It was an alcove, holding various writing materials and open books. It kept going up, floor after floor, each just a large catwalk with books on the wall, so you could look down on the first floor. At the roof though, there was a man. He screamed and toiled, and all you could see was a shadow. He stood on the picture of the gods, and could not leave his prison. He used to be an emissary for the evil god, Zamorak, but was defeated and left to rot. His name was Xarosen. It was about midnight, rain pounding against the libraries walls, and waves beating against it, that a man appeared on the thin stretch of beach. Some crabs stood on it, and scuttled away as the man went by, flipping his hood over his head. The man was tall and slim, and wore a peculiar robe. It was white and light blue, and written on it were archaic symbols of unknown meaning. And trailing behind him, was an orb of light, its glow lighting the whole peninsula of beach up. It floated about five feet from the ground, bobbing up and down as it approached the libraries door with the man. The man threw it open, and walked in, waiting for the orb to come in before shutting the door. The orb disappeared, and the man threw off his hood, splattering water onto the wooden floor. His hair was a soaking mop. He went to the alcove, and pulled a book from his robe, throwing it onto his desk. He then sat down. It was a bore, all he did was sit, write, read, categorize, and go look for more books to read and categorize. He needed an assistant, but the gods did not favor that. They wanted him to do his job by himself. Archimage thought the job was fine, at least it entailed danger and excitement that few men get to enjoy, but it also entailed the sitting and doing things that he particularly dispised. They always leave out the part in the history books where a great hero like Arrav actually had to do some work to get to where he was at, he did not just magically kill monsters because he was born with that power. Archimage had power, he just had other responsibilities as well. No damsels in distress, no killing the King of Darkness, no fancy drinks and food. Also, the books fail to mention that most of these people did not get publicity until after they were dead. Some people did, but no one knew about Arrav until after he was dead and they fought over his shield. Well, maybe someday, Archimage would get some help, and maybe get a bit more excitement, and less boredom... It only took a thousand years before that happened.....
