Okay, for your player made house, can you make multiple sections of gardens instead of rooms? Just askin before I start constuction/

If you mean multiple gardens, then yes as many as you want.

Let me try and clarify on what you're asking. Do you mean multiple groups of gardens instead of indoor rooms? Or do you mean making gardens with indoor furniture in them? The answer to the former is yes, and no to the latter. The reason to this is only certain rooms can house specific furnitures. Chapels cannot contain portals, and parlours cannot contain magic trees. You have however, complete control on how to build your rooms and where to place them. As long as you don't go over the initial limit of 20 rooms (30 if you have 99 cons) whilst building your gardens, you'll be fine.

Yes you can have more than one garden. I have 2 together with 6 rooms leading off of them to my regularly used rooms.

You can have as many gardens as you want but it is a waste of money as you only want to get usefull places like chapel and dungeon and portal room and room which allows you to mount glory
