Moneymaking for a lvl 114

Recommended Posts

I decided to return to RS after a break of about 1 year. I have only about 10m bank value left, and there are hundreds of objects I dropped before quitting. I started rebuilding this evening and I have a lot of the essentials back now. But how do I make money? I don't have any of the GWD gear that is required to go on monster hunting trips. I'm currently barrowing, but those items have really dropped in value and even a couple of drops won't be enough to get me back on my feet. Runecrafting is probably my best option, but that's really boring :P . My RSN is Red_Ftk_Bolt; I have 78 RC, 80 Fishing, 82 Slayer and my combat stats are pretty much like the average 114 except that my summoning is really low. I don't think my other skills are relevant unless Thieving became good for moneymaking or something.

Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.

Killing Zammy Mages in GWD for Dragon boots is decent cash, I hear. However it's 600k per hour, and falling.

Don't forget farming runs, battlestaves from Varrock Armor, and Kingdom Management! Those get you a ton of cash. 32 farming will do for ranarrs, although you'll need high stats for Varrock Armor 3, so you might want to put that one off for a bit. Kingdom only requires 2 simple quests with low requirements, so that's taken care of.

Note I didn't highscore you, so this is only a general overview.

I have no seeds or anything (I dropped most of my bank on the floor when I quit) and I don't have enough spare cash atm for MtK. I'm 1 lvl short of killing zammy mages, if it's really that good I could train for it.

1) Buy um, 100k is all it takes to get yourself started. (5 ranarrs, less for toadflax and kwuarm, more for snaps)

2) That's fine, after Royal Trouble you can get maximum efficiency with your Kingdom if you keep 75k in at all times. That means you'll have to make daily runs though.

3) Since you are so close, I would definitely consider training for zammy mages.

You said you had 10m, surely you can spare about 200k for the first 2?

Ok, thanks for the help. You forget a lot of things when you've been gone for a year -.- .

Tell me about it. I leave members for f2p for 5 months and I forget nearly everything about members and what to do.

Then again I would scare myself if I remembered so much about a game.

Expecting you have the levels at level 114, even aviansies would be pretty good.

If you can be bothered, doing this for money takes no skills (since we/i dont know yours)

1. Teleporting to waterbirth via lunar, picking up snapes and tele to castlewars. Only about 71 mage needed or so.

2. Picking up toads from the swamp in the gnome stronghold. No skill/requirements.

Just suggesting that since you said 10m bank value I expect majority/all to be in items :)

If you're aiming for a combat level up then go slay aswell.

Using most skills when you return isnt the best thing to do, trust me.

You gotta work out what places are good anymore, and how to do the skill, what prices have changed, may take a few days to get on track.

I dont need a siggy no moar.

One last question: What should I let my MtK workers do in order to get maximum profit? 100 maples 50 coal, or vice versa? Or something else? I don't want to string flax ;) .

10 Fish (raw)

5 Flax

That's most profit. However I switched 2 flax for 2 maples, just as a small gamble in hope of good seeds/egg.
