Well, I need to mine around 2,000 iron ore to get to my goal mining level. Where are some good places to mine iron that are near banks? Please don't mention the Al-kahrid mining place because I really don't like mining there.

varrock south west is good

The best way is to have some Ardy teles, run to the south of the legens guild for the 3 iron rock spot, Duelling ring to Castlewars, rince and repeat. And use a Familiar with B.O.B if you can.(and varrock armour).

 

 

 

the second best would be north of yanille, and running to yanille bank, but i prefer the method above.

I like the mining area near Legends Guild, with the ardy teleport idea.

Yanille is fastest without teles. Chasm north of al-Kharid with dueling rings is better, but since you hate it, you could also try Piscatoris with Spirit Kyatts.
