Hi! I'm Rinoa_Tilly and this is my :thumbsup: Quest for 99 Slayer :thumbsup: blog.

So what made you decide to go from 48 to 99?

 

 

 

One of my RS friends achieved 99 Agility recently. During the after party we got to talking and he encouraged me to go for 99 in a skill. At first I was hesitant, my highest skill was only 68 and I knew it would be a long road. After thinking over it for a while I realized Slayer would be the perfect skill for me to max. I would have variety and not have to spend time deciding how I want to train the skill. Also, I would make a lot of money and receive items that I can use to train other skills when I needed a break.

[hide=Oct 29, 2008]Yesterday ended on a bad note, my first day and already I'm having problems :( . Oh well, I'm going to Seer's Village to burn maples.

 

 

 

I got my firemaking high enough to use my lantern and headed out to Lumbridge Cave to kill cave slime. After killing only 5 or 6 I got a Clue Scroll, so I'm of on a treasure hunt now.

 

 

 

My treasure hunt resulted in a bunch of junk, so back to slayer. I decided to switch back to melee because I lost all my arrows during my first unsuccessful trip to the caves.

 

 

 

Yay, finished cave slime and now I have 57 banshees. I only have 30 min until I have to go to bed, so I'm off to slay as many as I can.

 

 

 

OMG, another clue scroll!!! Two in one day, why can't that happen when I want to do treasure trails. I guess I'm off on another treasure hunt, then bed.

[hide=Oct 28, 2008]Day one, no clue how many more to go :anxious: . I decided to start out with Mazchna in Canifis as my slayer master because none of his monsters will be enough of a challenge to discourage me.

 

 

 

I got assigned 46 cave slimes. Normally, I'd fight with melee, but in the process of setting up this blog I realized that my ranged is about 2k xp short of registering in my sig. Since this messes up my combat lvl on the sig i decided to use ranged to fix the problem.

 

 

 

I went into Lumbride Caves with a torch for light and died :cry: . After that I figured I should just do Hallowe'en events, then get all the stuff I lost back.

 

 

 

I made a bullseye lamp, then realized that I need two more firemaking lvls to use it. Bah, I'm going to bed.[/hide]
