Well, I have decided to make this guide because i found it useful for my mining, especially at lower levels. Please, no flaming as it is my first guide. Constructive criticism is ok though.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

[hide=Requirements]There are really little requirements, only that you have 15 mining. 50+ is best though. Also, 52+ Summoning makes it alot better, but i don't have that. -.-[/hide]

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

[hide=Equipment]A rune pickaxe and a BoB. Also a weight-reducing outfit is best.[/hide]

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

[hide=Method]Start off an Yanille Bank. Head out of Yanille and head north, towards a load of rocks that you can mine. Mine the three first ones once each,

 

 

 

then move up to the four ones slightly north.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mine these until you have no space in your inventory, then fill up your BoB. Mine again until you have 3 spaces left, mine the 3 rocks again, then bank and repeat the process.[/hide]

 

 

 

[hide=XP/hour]Trip time: 180 seconds (with mistakes)

 

 

 

Trip xp: 1295 (with bull ant, add 105xp to every BoB higher)

 

 

 

Hourly Xp: 25.9k xp (this should only increase marginally with higher BoBs, because you still have to mine the ore. It just means you can get more ore, therefore banking less.)

 

 

 

25.9k xp/hour is not bad for a low requirement area.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now, lets not forget cash.

 

 

 

Iron sells for: 93gp

 

 

 

Inventory worth: 3441gp

 

 

 

Hourly: 68,820gp. Not bad, as good as coal will get you.[/hide]

1. Fill your BoB as soon as possible. You get rid of weight.

 

 

 

2. There is an summoning obelisk north of the 4 irons. Recharge your summoning points there.

Your rates seem rather low. Powermining iron is generally considered to be around 45k XP per hour. Here goes another 'efficiency calculation', soon to have Inushkant come along and ruin it :P

Frankly, even a very low level should be able to earn 160k per hour - there are so many methods, such as d hide tanning, that give more then that.

Actually three (in a medium crowded world) rocks are better than wasting time moving around, it doesn't matter that you mine a rock 1-hit.

 

Then again, at higher levels (considering you use bank mining, because there ARE better locations for pure powermining) you can mine 2 mith stones nearby. You can mine another 2 (out of the way) in port khazard if you use it's bank deposit box. But those two are too time costly IMO.

Its OK. Id give 5/10 The problem is that its faster to mine iron in the dwarven mine on a pvp world and bank in Falador than in Yanille and thats f2p. OK guide on a BAD method.
