Octavarium
Does anyone know where I can find out what time certain acts will be performing at the Hyde Park live8 show? Basically I want to see Pink Floyd but don't want to have to sit through the rest of what this country now calls 'music'. Yes I've googled. Meesy
On July 2, 2005, 100 artists, a million spectators and 2 billion viewers will gather at Live 8 to spread one message - put an end to poverty. Get more information, add your name to the global petition and watch the shows live on the web at: http://music.channel.aol.com/live_8_concert/home AOL will be the only place to find the webcast for this event. All of the concerts will be archived on that site for a period of time after Saturday, as well. Coldplay will headline the Live8 concert organised by Geldof in London Saturday, the flagship event of an eight-city musical extravaganza designed to pressure world leaders meeting in Scotland next week to eradicate poverty in Africa. Ianbur
I know for a fact that Pink Floyd are one of the last to sing.. it had it in todays Sun newspaper. But it isn't a case of saving the best to last, I think Pink Floyd are a load of rubbish though. You should watch through it all though, there are some decent bands playing - The Killers, Stereophonics, Razorlight, REM, U2, and Travis. It's shaping up to be a good concert.
