here ya go, little explanatiion:

 

 

 

on the slime character I was mainly looking at shading, and also on the armor plate. the arm is more anatomy. The maul is perspective practice.

I'm lost, what are we looking at? Your shading needs to defintely step up; as does the lineart itself. Your "shading" is just some form of cell shading, and almost reminds me of Van Gogh's work as he did pieces with his work where you could almost see a light coming out of the character. Then again his works are way better then this. When it comes to pixel art, this shading will not cut it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also you must think Van Gogh didn't have to use a computer to achieve great art.

erm i dont really understand what you are saying exactly...cel shading? All shading is done in paint if you were implying it wasnt. i told you what you were looking at in the first post.
