The composition of number two is wonderful, but as a personal opinion I dislike the colors, they clash to much for my liking. Also I hate renders as well, but I've seen your past work, this is experimental for you I presume.

I paid attention in my wide area networking class is what I did. And yes there are some problems with the OS itself but every OS has it's problems. It's usually user malfunction not computer malfunction that causes problem. Maybe all that pirating people do has a something to do with it?

This is actually rather bad, all the anatomy is incorrect, there is basically no shading, the canvas is to large, your figures are just blah, the bg is just blah. If you're going to do a piece this large at least do the proper shading for characters this size and not to mention make them anatomically correct.

Just going to do an edit to show you what I think would be correct, will post soon. By switching to the stance and what not provided, (Maybe not so much hunch in the back but mind you this was a 5 minute job), by spreading the stance a bit more, and bringing the sword closer to the hip, it provides for a more powerful striking blow since the muscles will be in a flexed form and ready to exert that power, also a sword so big and out stretched would prove mighty hard to carry in the stance you are suggesting. Also in mine I didn't give any bend in the knee's, you'll want to do that as well.

Mess with opacity a bit as well if you must, should give you that happy medium you're looking for. Try that or you could try these next two things. Desaturate the layer you're trying to make brighter by about -20 (Ctrl+U) then enter -20 in Saturation. Or just simply lower the brightness of the layer.
