Corrupted armor/wep questions....

I was wondering how the corrupted dragon items work, nothing big. I mean they have to have something useful about them considering they don't have a spec or so I hear.

 

 

 

So this is what I would like to know if anyone could please help,

 

1) Do they really have a special!

 

2) How do they degrade, like barrows or in the set time after you wear it or something else?

 

3) If I use the corrupted and put it in my inventory or bank, will it still "decay"

 

4) Are they really useful for pking, I know this depends of strategy, etc but I know they have a time limit so, can they really be useful for making a profit? (I think the 2h is a good one for koing but If it has a time limit, it can alter my perspective on this)

 

 

 

Thats about it, any comments or opinions are welcome. Im just curious about this as Im stuck in f2p and fm is boring me out alot, so I might pk while I fm to have some fun. And thanks 8-) .

1) I've heard they're identical to normal dragon, so that would mean they do.

 

2) Corrupt degrades from wearing/wielding it.

 

3) No.

 

4) Not really. The new pvp armors aren't worth it unless you get lucky on drops to pay for using them. Corrupted dragon is only useful if you're f2p with money to spare.

Nope, special is for member only, same with Corrupted

Just equip it is enough to trigger decay

No, only if you wear it

It depends, if you are facing a skilled pker, then you will have trouble to finish him off quickly. Personally, with teleport-run, protection prayer, and food, Dragon sets are not fast or strong enough to cover the cost.

+1 to this person, they have it right. Also, I saw a screenshot recently, and it showed the corrupt items don't have special attacks. Put simply, but to some people's dismay, Jagex didn't want the melee pvp being too powerful. :ugeek:

 

 

 

As for decay issues... It only decays while worn, never while banked or simply in your pack. :geek:
