My new slayer task is 189 trolls

 

How should i approach that and where should i fight them?

If cannoning, do the ice trolls, you should be able to break even I think with the shield drops, as for melee, death plateau is decent I guess.

The best way to do it is to attack them at the troll camp just outside of the entrance to the troll stronghold (plenty safe spots).

The safe spots are annoying though.

 

 

 

Just melee them, take a super set and just turn auto-retaliate on. They auto attack to make things easier, and hardly hit much.

They have very high range defence, knives are not good enough for them. Just melee them.

Death plateau?

Unless you have a cannon, yes, the death plateau or the entrance to the troll stronghold would be the best option.

With the ones at the troll camp, you can cannon them and safespot while killing with ranged. (Safespot is in the eastern "house". I speak of those closest to Trollhiem.)

 

 

 

If you'd like, you can also try the Troll Generals.

Personally I use the Troll Stronghold near the Trollheim teleport, (you can use the teleport if you have completed "Edgar's Rouse" quest.) I find them pretty fast, but, that's just me.
