November 6, 200817 yr To get buttons you have to theive or kill HAM members in their dungeon in Lumbridge Forrest. To polish them you just click to polish I believe. Gold ring you can just buy off the GE, or you can buy a gold bar and use it + a ring mould on a furnace to make your own.
November 6, 200817 yr to make a gold ring use a gold bar with a ring mould. Can't help with the polished buttons though, I think they have something to do with a quest but otherwise are pretty useless Woodcutting does not raise your combat level because most people do not play as yew trees.

They do almost nothing except for being used in a couple of quests, which are all members quests.
