there are a few ways i have heard the only 1 that i heard that worked for me was restart but i tried just unpluging my internet i use cable and i used the client which should mean it will work on ie 2 i just open the client and it said page could not be found becuse the internet was not pluged in then i left the client open and pluged the internet back in and click on detect network settings

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So in numbered step

 

 

 

1) unplug internet

 

 

 

2)open client(ie should work)

 

 

 

3)leave window open and plug ionternet back in

 

 

 

4)click on detect network settings

ok i sick of re-typing this so im just gonna copy and paste from now on:

 

 

 

if ure having problems where runescape wont load e.g you get a black screen what u need to do is right-click on the two flashing screens which will appear in ure taskbar (bottom right) and then go through this menu and click on repair. After this is done it should work, if not their is a page in the runescape forums you can check out
