November 10, 200817 yr MTA is best for magic, unless you are below level 87 with 100+ combat, then Vets Pc with Fire Wave is good, but costly. This is, of course, disregarding ancients. After level 68, MTA beats alching. I average 62k per hour alching, which is less than my average enchanting DRAGONSTONE. With Onyx, if I perform the same, it is over 80k per hour. There are many benefits to dstone enchant: -I personally find it more fun -It's cheaper, cosmics are cheaper than the loss alching and you get runes (death, blood, cosmic) back. You can also use your points to buy more cosmics if that floats your boat -When you leave the chamber, you are told exactly how many orbs you enchanted that session. This way you can easily see your progress that hour. -It's faster And of course, with Onyx you can add it being MUCH faster to that list. ~It's Super Effective!
