SC armor randomly changing?

Okay, so I got some SC armor, and I wanted to just leave it on melee so that I'd look awesome walking around covered in [bleep]es.

 

 

 

But now I'm finding that even when it's just sitting in my inventory, it randomly changes to other types! And it uses up charges in doing so, which I DON'T want to do? Am I accidentally causing this, is it a bug, or is this the "degrading" that Jagex put in? Because if it's the last option, it will be really inconvenient in battles. Especially since my scimitar just changed to a bow WHILE I WAS WIELDING IT.

 

 

 

Anyone else having this problem and know if they're going to fix it?

Hmm i have not had this problem, but i have not used the armor too much in combat. My guess is it's a glitch because of all the glitches with the mini game and the tool. I also looked in the knowledge base and i don't see anything about it degrading like the tools it just says it has to be recharged after ten changes I guess just report it.

I'm pretty sure it's a bug that needs fixing. There's a thread in the General forum about stuff like this happening.
