What is the best place to plant a spirit tree? And what are the benefits if I plant it in that place?

Here are your choices:

 

 

 

South East Etceteria

 

West of Draynor (east of Port Sarim)

 

Northeast of Brimhaven

 

 

 

There isn't really a standout choice. You can get to Misc/Etc by the ring network, to Port Sarim by the cabbage teleport and to Brimhaven from the Shilo travel cart (Shilo with the Karamja gloves). As the gloves are probably the hardest to get, I'd say Brimhaven. But really, the spirit tree patches don't add a lot to your existing transportation choices.

 

 

 

Note to Planet Jagex: How about a new spirit tree patch - Lunar Isle would be an ideal place.

I would say probably Brimhaven. Draynor has so many teleports around its area as it is, so its not really recommended to plant one there. And there are better choices of Misc. such as the lyre and as mentioned before, fairy rings.

 

 

 

So I guess plant it in Brimhaven, even though its a light jog away from glory teleport. You should plant it, get its exp for checking its health ( I think its like 10k, maybe more) and be on your mary-way

There is absolutely no point in putting one in at Port Sarim. Only an idiot would do that. Explorer's Ring 3 puts you right there.

 

 

 

It would also be foolish to put one in at Brimhaven as the Karamja Gloves 3 and a 10gp cart ride put your right near where the spirit tree patch is anyways. The gloves aren't hard to get, seriously. If you have a high enough farming level to plant spirit trees I'm going to assume the rest of your skills are also high leveled which means even if you haven't done Legend's, the achievement diary still isn't that hard to do.

 

 

 

I'd put my spirit tree on Etceteria because even though you can use the fairy ring network to get there, you still have to go quite a bit out of your way to get to a fairy ring. Plus, if you're at the GE, all you have to do is walk 20 steps to the spirit tree, collect resources from your kingdom, and then walk to the spirit tree and ZOMG!!! you're right back at the GE ready to sell what you just collected.
