November 16, 200817 yr Hey, I used to play RS a few months back and I had a pure with 70 ranged & strength who I decided to get defense on (because BH was dire). Shortly after that I quit. Since then I have started college and I have lots of free time, so I thought I may as well give RS another shot. Looking at the recent updates such as PvP worlds I'm thinking of playing again but I need a few questions answered... Are pures viable in PvP worlds, just like the good old days of the wilderness? If so, what level would you start pking? (note: I'll be F2P for a while but P2P once my skills are quite high) How is the economy going? How would you suggest a pure like myself gets gold? I was thinking of training fishing. What is the loot system like in PvP worlds? Do you get decent enough rewards to pay off the cost of food etc? I can't think of a name :P (gonna make a new account) any thoughts? Thanks in advance! ^dds'er in progress =D
November 16, 200817 yr Pures work fine in Pvp worlds but not as good as the wilderness. As soon as your 1 Defense and a Granite Maul or 70 ranged start Pking (Mabye get range from 50-70 using a cannon to get less hp) You can farm ranarrs while cutting Yews to make an alright profit. The loot system in Pvp worlds is different, It is more of a luck matter. Name must not have leet in it. Pureprayer, you're awesome.
November 16, 200817 yr Author Thanks for the replies so far, I just decided that instead of a pure I'll just make a main. I was trying to name my account something with Darz in (the name I sometimes use) and it seems to not want to make an account with Darz in. Even if I put lots of random letters and numbers after it... Is the word filtered or something? I don't see why... Meh I'll just come up with a new name lol. November 16, 200817 yr My pure still works well in PvP. Just the same, you can use your current account that you got defence on for pking. I would simply make it a range tank. You could get the following stats and still own mid-bh and PvP. Att/Str- Total of 148 or so. Defence- 90 Range- 99 Mage- 99 Pray- 44 Sum- 99 (doesn't add in pvp worlds unless used) HP- 99 Combat Lvl: 100 PoetryIndexed Picture 1Indexed Picture 2 Killed my maxed Zerker pure April 2010 Rebooting Runescape
