nrbalert
I'm down in the hero's guild ranging blue dragons, the first my iron bolt with my rune c bow were returning normally with the accumulator but then they stopped coming back and were piling up on the ground. I switched over magic short and steel arrows and I'm still having the same problem. wats wrong? what can I do? doomdfence
You are probably too far away from the enemy for it to get your bolts/arrows. You have to be like right next to them.
nrbalert
Yeah I'm in a safe spot, if I go through fence would it work? Summoning 14--Hunter 12--Construction
Foooman
That's probably your problem: Ava's Accumulator won't pick up projectiles if you are firing from behind something; whether it be a fence, rock, or a table.
compfreak847
Distances don't matter, but if your safespotting it won't collect them. doomdfence
Nope, that wont work either at least i dont think. Try it if you want. Oh and are you sure distances dont matter? Ranging Turoths halfway across the room makes arrows drop there.
baileydafrog
ive never had a problem with distance, but it never always picks all up, but yeah, you cant range over/through anything or it doesnt work
basiliko
Literally accumulator must have no obstacle in front of it in order to pick up the arrows. That is the way AI works, distance is never the issue The Haraguroi Club: Where Yandere Thrive for Chopping
Kellis
Distance doesn't matter. As long as the monster can hit you (beeline/straight line) the arrows will be picked up. This means that it's worthless against caged monsters.

Not necessarily, it is still useful for safespots at big-sized monsters (Ice Giants, for example), maybe it is because they cannot fit into the tight space. Kellis
Let me correct that: As long as there is a beeline from ONE of the squares the monster is standing on to you, it will work. This allows for some safespotting with monsters that take up 2+ squares. For example, I can range blue dragons and get them trapped behind stalagmites, but still have my arrows picked up because there is a straight line between me and the left square the monster is occupying.
