RuneScape Official Forum Links Blocked?

Hey,

 

Sorry if this was intentional, or not a bug, but the forum seems to be blocking RSOF links.

 

 

 

For example, this link is meant to go to the RSOF, to the thread about the latest quest, Guthix Rests:

As you can see, it's been blocked as a scam site. (The qutoted part is the address posted above, just with spaces in it so you can see). I just thought I'd notify you of this. If it is intentional to prevent fake RS sites being posted that has been happening a lot recently, sorry for the false thread. Also, if this is the wrong forum, I apologise, I've never found a "bug" with the forum before.

Yes that's what's happened.

 

 

 

Links to the RSOF have been filtered as that's how the recent scam posters are operating.

 

 

 

If you need to link to the official forums, I believe there's a quick find code you can use to link to the thread, which you must go to the forums yourself to access, so it is 100% safe.

I don't find a point in uncensoring it as sometimes the links don't work, so a quick find code always works better. Like Pryo said.

Yeah, I'd agree that something similar should be added instead of that because it could imply that Tip.it is blocking the RuneScape Official Forums purposely.

Great idea. Having it remain as "[scam]" gives people the wrong idea. It could make a lot of innocent people look like scammers.
