limpxbizkid
just recently when ive logged into runescape opened a few other windows like forums, google, etc. when i alt+tab back to runescape the game window just goes completly white and stays that way for ages (15-20mins) by which time ive logged out. i dont recall installing or changing any settings what so ever in ages (this is the first day the problem has started). ive got adsl so usually it can handle surfing as well as runescape at the same time. i use IE6.0 SP2 for runescape. thats about all i can think of atm. any advice? pieboy_87
sounds like ur comp is just running a bit slugish... when was the last time you cleand out all your temp files (disk cleanup), defraged, run a SBS&D/ad-aware scan? do you have anything else running in the background?, rs does that to me when im rar'ing alot of files, its normaly where RS is being choked and cannot get enough CPU (its a power hungry little beast)
Smc5528
Actually this has happened for me to. Now runescape uses a special system which ive deemed an HTTP masker. This means that when you try to refresh your browser, it will go to http://runescape.com instead of the sub page you where at. Now i can only guess this is for saftey reasons so it is what it is. Now the secondary problem is you can't go directly to a sub page, you have to link yourself there. No doubt another brillant encode. So for the white thing, and this is what ive done, just refresh it going to runescape.com and reload your world. Also if you haven't done so reinstall your JAVA software to make sure its up to date and/or not corrupted.
