  1. Of course you consider the fittest. But what about the world's fatest man. Did you ever stop to consider him?! I think just better graphics. Much better 3D engine, and maybe turning away from the easily corruptable java script.
  2. Well according to what ive heard summoning will indeed be part of the magic skill. The question though is, when!
  3. Hokay since im a mage I have more than 1, deal with it :P 1) SUMMONING -You know the drill, if jagex would get it in gear and release it thatd be great -Summon Armor 20 Earth, 20 Fire, 20 Water, 20 Air, 10 Cosmic -Temporarily summons elemental armor surrounding you -Summon Weapon 20 Earth, 20 Fire, 20 Water, 20 Air, 10 Soul -Summon an Elemental Bow or Elemental Sword -Bank Summon 5 Law, 1 Soul, 10 Air -Opens bank no matter where you are (Cannnot open past 20 wildi, on entrana, or any places like that where weapons are not allowed.
  4. Alright I'm going to say this right now. If every suggestion is going to be treated like a flame war, than this section is not going anywhere at all. I posted a perfectly logical suggestion, with perfectly logical thinking to back it up. Instead it was met with a 'gang bang' of sorts stretching off onto two + pages. You guys really need to look at yourself in the mirror and decide truley whether or not your secure in yourself and your ability to objectivly look at a suggestion - instead of disagreeing with it.
  5. Alright well formost, and this is very important. This is not invision. Invision is a COMPLETLY different style of php variables, sql calls, and overall structure and should never be compared to phpBB2 in any way, shape, or form. Secondly, and as already stated, the board has an automatic flood control. The person may only post after every 30 seconds. This applys to ALL submittions by a user to the mysql database with the _posts directory, no matter what manner. I will tell you now from ALL my experiance with TONS of online forums, the quick reply hack NEVER lead to spamming and only made my, and the life of my members MUCH easier. Thanks, SMC
  6. No smilies next to the box :) But the amount of loading bandwith required for the quick reply box is vastly less than loading an entirley new page complete with emoticons, bbcode, and previous post lists, and the like.
  7. I can help out with the graphics (bit of a gfx wiz :P) and also a tad on the CSS and overall editing of the template
  8. Its all about convience. Two posts above: Just like blipo pointed out, there is a flood control in place. They won't be allowed to spam :) Post above: Like i said, all about convience. It really dosen't seem big but once its installed you won't know how you lived without it
  9. I'm going to go even further off topic for a second and show you the coolest mod ever. AI Mod It sets up a bot on your forum that will reply to users posts and pm's. Once my dns finally resolves I'm going to install it :? [/url] Yeah i installed a 'Bot' on a set of forums before but not only was it vverry hard to install, but it really didn't lead to much except abuse - and the moderators where going nuts :D
  10. Not sure which version you installed but the one i linked to dosen't have any of the like. This has to checkboxes after the quick reply box. Quote post above, and Show Signature. If signature is turned to always show in the profile, then it will be automatically checked. Not sure which version you installed :?
  11. Yeah phpBB dosen't really come 'custom hacked'. If only it did :P
  12. http://www.phpbbhacks.com/download/522 Thats something to save time, and frankly I find it very useful myself. Definitly worth installing. If you need any help, which I doubt :P, just ask - I've installed this and other phpBB2 hacks more times than I would like to admit  -SMC
  13. http://phpbbhacks.com/download/3643 Ive installed that one on my own boards before, has a few addons but the orignial works like a charm. If you all need any help installing it just gimmie a call.
  14. Yeah i have a shred of intellgect hence by all my suggestions etc. on this forum itself. I just personally have not formatted a drive before. Also the XP disc is the professional version that came with the computer itself so I would guess its a recovery software which should work because chances are it was made for this computer. I have already started to backup my programs on CD, but frankly I only need an internet browser which I reckon comes with the software recovery.
  15. Alright basically in the next couple of months I will be getting a new computer and passing this computer down to others. Now I plan to completly format my C:// Drive, thus getting rid of all the crap Ive put on here over the years. How should I go about this process? I relize I need backups of programs, software, and drives but what else should I do, and how exactly do I go about formatting the drive? Thanks for your help, SMC
