Alright I'm going to say this right now. If every suggestion is going to be treated like a flame war, than this section is not going anywhere at all. Alright well formost, and this is very important. This is not invision. Secondly, and as already stated, the board has an automatic flood control. The person may only post after every 30 seconds. This applys to ALL submittions by a user to the mysql database with the _posts directory, no matter what manner. I will tell you now from ALL my experiance with TONS of online forums, the quick reply hack NEVER lead to spamming and only made my, and the life of my members MUCH easier. Thanks, SMC

No smilies next to the box :) But the amount of loading bandwith required for the quick reply box is vastly less than loading an entirley new page complete with emoticons, bbcode, and previous post lists, and the like.

Not sure which version you installed but the one i linked to dosen't have any of the like. This has to checkboxes after the quick reply box. Quote post above, and Show Signature. If signature is turned to always show in the profile, then it will be automatically checked. Not sure which version you installed :?

Yeah i have a shred of intellgect hence by all my suggestions etc. on this forum itself. I just personally have not formatted a drive before. Also the XP disc is the professional version that came with the computer itself so I would guess its a recovery software which should work because chances are it was made for this computer. I have already started to backup my programs on CD, but frankly I only need an internet browser which I reckon comes with the software recovery.

Alright basically in the next couple of months I will be getting a new computer and passing this computer down to others. Now I plan to completly format my C:// Drive, thus getting rid of all the crap Ive put on here over the years. How should I go about this process? I relize I need backups of programs, software, and drives but what else should I do, and how exactly do I go about formatting the drive? Thanks for your help, SMC

Alright first of all you need a program that can do it. For example, adobe photoshop Image Ready. You simply add different frames to that image. After it loads it continusly rotates through the frames giving the illusion of anitmation. To make transparent images first make sure that the Matee is set to transparent. Next you need to eliminate all of the background. The most normal setting is a checkboard background to show a law of background. The "Magic Eraser/Wand" Tool is best for background elimination!

Yup thats exactly what you have to do. Unfortunatly formatting your drive is several hours of work. Thats why you always backup your data.

I hope it all works out for you, also I belive toshibia re-vamped their Customer Support so they might actually be able to send you the drivers disk if you give them a call and read them your product number and explain your situation. Well actually your computer should have come with a recovery disk full of every driver installed on your computer. For further drivers download it ONLY from the manufactors website, 99% of the time they will have them for download.

Pascal is good if you want to make calculator games. Anyone that is in High School - College lvl math knows what im talking about :P

*Firefox users* To be on the safe side, update your Java plugin view mozilla.com. Microsoft dosen't update FF plugins yet. The software is updated, the plugins to FF aren't. Now chances is this will be of no consequence but you always wanna play it safe when your playing with an expensive peice of machinery.

Sounds to me like youve got a corrupt temporary internet file. Clear your entire batch of internet files and then try. It won't immediatly fix the problem but after the sites you visit often cache the process should speed up. If your working on a wireless network try the Repair function on your wireless internet network. If that dosen't work in addition to the steps listed above try moving your "Base Station" closer to your computer.

Alright now people have this problems sometimes with phpBB2 as well. Now chances are something is blocking the cookie that Hotmail sends to your computer to signial youre logged in. Now you need to check your intenret options to make sure your allowing cookies. Also you need to check whatever anti-spyware, adware, ware ware etc. and try and add a specific item for Hotmail aka msn.com. That should fix the problem.
