  1. Yeah, firstly you should ALWAYS back track to what you did before this problem occured. The next step is you always run a virus and spyware scan(s), worst case scenairo you get added reasurances your computer is virus free. Then you investigate what the problem is. The firewalls are usually very tricky but zone alarm being an intutive program it asks you when another computer is trying to access your own. If you don't see it showing you, than youll have to change the alert level settings to the maimum, thus informing you of everything. The next step is to find out your IP address, always allow your own ip address and 127.0.0.1 (Another way of saying your own IP adress) so that your computer can basically access itself. Windows generally uses this to fix wireless internet connections and report system functions. Programs will automatically be blocked and make sure you have a valid and up to date anti virus scanner checking for trojans all the time. Hope this helps for any future or even possibly current situation, SMC
  2. Now im not generally veresed in hardware and computer software, although I have knowledge to some extent - the purpose of this thread is for me to offer any WEB SITE help to anyone that needs it. I have created and maintained many websites, founded Night Window Systems (A Large hosting website which i decided to shut down last year due to scholastic reasons), and most currently I am maintaining http://warcraft3files.com which is a site under the FilesNetwork a subsiderary to FileFront - one of the largest download sites on the globe. My site does on average 4 Terabytes of information daily, scoring over 4,000 UNIQUE IP hits a day. I know a good deal on the programming languages of PHP, HTML, Flash (Aka action script). As well as bits and pieces of Java, C++, and i am pretty versed in Photoshop. I also have created countless phpBB2 websites and forums, many under Night Window Systems, which have been successful, 5 of which reaching over a 500 member base. (I can fix 90% of the problems that have happened due to installing 3rd party modifications). So if you have a question, ask away. I am not currently offering hosting of any sort as im working off my own custom built, and frankly antiquated server right now. I will be getting some 3rd part hosting shortly which i will dedicate about 500 megs to hosting. Thanks, SMC BTW: Its free of charge, knowledge is something that should be shared, not bought.
  3. Actually this has happened for me to. Now runescape uses a special system which ive deemed an HTTP masker. This means that when you try to refresh your browser, it will go to http://runescape.com instead of the sub page you where at. Now i can only guess this is for saftey reasons so it is what it is. Now the secondary problem is you can't go directly to a sub page, you have to link yourself there. No doubt another brillant encode. So for the white thing, and this is what ive done, just refresh it going to runescape.com and reload your world. Also if you haven't done so reinstall your JAVA software to make sure its up to date and/or not corrupted.
