I couldn't figure out how to take a picture of something I couldn't do, but surely someone else tried it in the past and had the same trouble.

 

 

 

When you have to give Elbis items to make the scrying glasses, he will accept noted items for everything EXCEPT charcoal. If you have a noted charcoal, you can sell it and quickly buy it back at the bandit shopkeeper in the tent near Elbis, but attempting to give him a noted charcoal doesn't even give an error message. It just won't allow you to do it.

yeah I think the singleton items aren't supposed to be noted. It actually said that in the guide "[these items can be noted]" but I modified it to be more clear. Thanks for the suggestion.
