Defense Level For Switching to Mitre

I am at 79 def, what level would be the suggested level def level for switching from Torag's helm to a God Mitre while tanking at avansies? Is there a def level, where switching to d-hide legs from torag legs is possible.

If your tanking at Avi's why would you need a mitre? surely theyre just for prayer bonus?

 

 

 

And about the legs, I personally think Torag legs are the best you can wear, If you want a bit of extra accuracy with the dhide though, id suggest not doing that untill your about 85-90 defence
