I like the pixel. It's a bit different from what we usually see. :)

 

 

 

The "gallery" text needs some work, though, and the black outline on the speech bubble should be cleaned up.

Yes, I like the pixel as well but gallery needs some work and I cant even read the word after that. #-o

Avoid giving the text a layer mode or transparency, a solid color or a soft gradient is always better. If you want it to not stand out, just use a color similar to the background.
