Requirements: 68 Fishing, 41 Summoning, membership, and about 100k.

 

The Guide:

   [*:34qr91mm]Go to the Grand Exchange, purchase Macaws and Herbcall scrolls in the ratio of 1:32.
    
   [*:34qr91mm]Head to the barbarian outpost, then go south-west to the Barbarian tutor. (this isn't required if you've already done it clearly) Talk to him to the point where you learn to barbarian fish.
    
   [*:34qr91mm]Head to the fishing guild. Take out one macaw pouch, and all your scrolls.
    
   [*:34qr91mm]Find a place where you can Barbarian Fish(Harpoon) for swordies and tuna. Start fishing.
    
   [*:34qr91mm]Now here's where the most money comes in. Every full minute the life drops, you can then use the scroll.
    
   [*:34qr91mm]Each time you use the scroll you're randomly given a herb (ANY Herb). (The chance of an herb is about 99%)
    
   [*:34qr91mm]Once your inventory is full, simply bank.
    
   [*:34qr91mm]Use the summoning altar right by the docks when necessary, repeat.

 

 

 

Useful Tip:

 

I suggest when doing this you keep your 'tab' on the summoning so you can constantly monitor the life of your creature so you do not lose any herbs.

 

 

 

I also suggest you stay in a clan chat.

PS: You may use the macaw for any kind of fish(almost all boring skills)...It dramasticly improves profit...also I pick up EVERY herb.

Why do you need to do barbarian fishing? Can't you just use a barb-tailed harpoon? And yes, farming herbs is much better time wise, having an amulet of farming tell you when the herb is diseased makes it simple too.

1) There's a rumor that since barbarian fishing has a lower requirement than the harpoon, the catches come faster. I'm personally not sure which to believe, but barbarian looks cooler, soo....

 

 

 

2) Amulet of Farming doesn't bind to herbs, that's the Amulet of Nature.

A little correction... macaws do NOT produce herbs 99% of the time, closer to about 33%. If I skill while using macaws, I always have one macaws that seriously NEVER produces an herb, then my next macaw produces an herb about half the time. the good thing, though, is that macaws forage herbs, and that when I DO get an herb, it's usually guam (clean and bank, to make more macaws) or Ranarr (clean and bank, too, then make into prayer potions). :|
