  1. I think this is the absolute best besides zuriel's gear. Was Ahrims hood or the infinity hat better? I think the hood was. Replace the zammy book with a mage's book though.
  2. At your level, barbarian is the fastest. And yes, agility will always be this boring... unfortunately.
  3. Neitz looks ugly. And I think ill do proselyte quest soon and bring in dragon boots. It isn't about looks, it's about functionality. Prayer and strength bonus, plus rune full stats and +3 mage defense. Blows warrior helm out of the water. Also, use a rune defender, forgot about that.
  4. I think a helm of neitz would be better, other than that, looks good.
  5. What about a sara item? I don't think it is wise to go in there without a sara item. Otherwise, that setup sounds good.
  6. I needed more monkfish than prayer pots when I meleed. About 5 p pots and 10 monkfish should do the trick if you have my stats. If you are above 83 combat, you could use less. I was also using a rune scimitar, so, yeah, it's pretty easy.
  7. He only has 500k, and he needs a good way to make money to start doing aviansies. Here's some stats. Quite frankly, the only things I suggested, smithing and yews, he turned down, so I don't know what to suggest. He hates farming, so that's really out of the question. I don't know what he could do. I could really use your help, since he is getting, well, angry.
  8. Don't forget to plant marigolds alongside the herbs. Marigolds sell for about 4k, and seeds at draynor are about 50gp. I actually think they are better profit than herbs, simply because they grow so fast. Probably just CRS kicking in though.
  9. You should always use the accumulator when ranging, the range bonus is always good. Other than that, from what I have seen, that is a good set up. Make sure to get prayer switching down. If your stats were lower, I would have recommended prayer flashing as well, however, you probably won't need that. You may want to consider switching for some verac's to keep your prayer up, and don't take guthan's, switch for some more super restores and sara brews. Everyone says guthan's is bad in there.
  10. How does feathering bolts stack up. I believe you can make money off of some bolts, and if it is good xp, there shouldn't be much reason not to do it.
  11. I believe wilderness is optimal until 70 or so. I know the Ape Atoll one isn't very good until the 60s, and for the life of me, I can't think of anything that would be better than the wildy course.
  12. Compfreak, permission to +1 you? It's the only way I know of to solve his problem :? I know, that's why I was asking if i could +1 you.
  13. Probably just poor sales. I would have expected an official announcement regarding this if it had changed. Jagex never really took a hard stance against merchanting either.
  14. I believe feathering bolts is still much faster. That requires a LOT of concentration though.
  15. Ok, watch this. Are you watching? Life not only transforms air,(Oxygon to carbon dioxide, and vice versa), but animals can also break wind,(farting). Therefore, you should get 99 hitpoints. Plus, it is not melee, since you can obtain it through range and mage. Of course, by this logic, 99 hitpoints is the same as 99 cooking... (Cutting the cheese) :-k :-s
  16. Presumably next year, I will cut myself off. Calculus AB is going to be a pain, as will all my other AP classes. My senior year, I may start playing again, however, I have many AP classes then too. I don't play rs much currently now either, but next year will really cut me off. I'm thinking of getting WoW back as well, and I play my xbox pretty heavily, so sorry rs, you're just going to have to step aside.
  17. Sometimes sarcasm is plenty obvious even on the internet, in this case though, I would have to agree with you.
  18. 190k exp nah.. I think he was saying gp per hour, I am somehow incredulous that someone could get that much xp in hunter, especially considering it's not even the fastest method.
  19. Did they drop your minigame stuff? I would hate to see the king of castlewars lose it all... I feel your pain though, I was hacked about 3 years ago. The account had 800 total, f2p, had full rune. Made me quit for like 3 months,(that is huge for a casual f2per, which I was). Also, I find that the recovery questions make good passwords, coupled with some numbers. Such as your father's middle name, mother's maiden name, just make sure they aren't a recovery question as well. ;)
  20. Thanks for not turning this into a flame thread or a debate Theday, I appreciate it. :) As for Runescape being neglected, this likely won't happen. I have read some interviews with the actual people behind runescape, and they enjoy the game as much as the players themselves. They will continue to update this game as long as the number of people paying for runescape or the number of people joining exceeds the number of people quitting, simply because they enjoy the game, they want it to stay alive until it loses them money. How future games will affect the updates... you can count on them being reduced, unless they have another staff apart from the runescape staff working on future games, and since developing a game is harder than updating it, the runescape team will not lose members, ensuring frequent updates. As for the grandmaster quest, that was jagex saying the following. "Ok, so you have high levels and you've done all the quests. Good job, now here's something that will challenge you more than anything we've released so far."
  21. Eh, herblore and farming aren't useful to get 99 in either, they both stop at 85. 'Sides, people who buy maples are buying them from somebody, right? They're supporting those people. Plus, you lose more money from herblore than from burning maples whether or not you get part of it back. The real skill people oughta get to 99 is summoning. Now that's a skill that's good for something. What I'm saying is that instead of getting a finished product of ashes that only people low on funds will use, instead, you could create potions that many people will use, thus stimulating the economy. I'm not saying to go for a 99 either, unless it happens while doing it or you just like the skill. By the way, plus one on the summoning idea. That uses almost every skill in the game.
  22. This is a brilliant idea. The fact that general stores are useless now other than NPC trading has been bugging me for quite some time. The figures would definitely have to be tweaked perhaps for each item individually, but this could work. Those saying that it would be used for RWTing, even if this was a good way to transfer money, it won't always work, plus you would need money to start with. Those with the cash to buy any sort of godsword I would like to think don't need to be buying money. Besides, there are much much faster methods, which I am not at liberty to say due to the tip.it code of conduct, as well as runescape's rules.
  23. Oh great, another person who threw away good money to get an orange cape that most people will disrespect, or to get a nice trim on their other cape. Seriously, it's not that big of a deal. Nobody in the general runescape community respects it(I once saw someone with a trimmed firemaking cape with a following of 10 people calling him a noob, when he put on his runecrafting cape, all but one person said sorry and walked away, the last person was afk and he lured somewhere and got him killed.), and even if some people did, this game is not about respect. I myself, do not ridicule the firemaking cape, that is simply rude. However, I do get angry with the people who create a constant market for maple logs trying to get their firemaking up, squandering their money, when they could be putting it into skills such as herblore or farming, benefitting the entire community, while still obtaining high experience rates(maybe not farming) AND making some of their money back. And to those who said firemaking is hard, there are waay harder buyable skills. I can name 5 right off the bat. Herblore, construction, runecrafting, farming, and crafting. (Crafting is debatable, high budget methods are faster than magic logs, but low budget methods are much slower than maple or willow logs.) And to those wondering why I don't have a skillcape myself, it's simple. If I was going to spend money on a cape, it would be a fire cape. Much better stats, plus it is somewhat exciting. To those who enjoy firemaking(how very few you may be), my hat is off to you for doing what you like. The skills I like cost too much(smithing, as well as others) to train efficiently, so unfortunately, their levels are low.
