99 skill help
No, not teletabs. Just teleporting to the bank. You will need some food banked, as the monsters there can sometimes hurt, and you will be running through them on the way to the altar.

99 skill help
If that is true then rcing is waay too slow. I did cosmics from 27 to 30 and it took me about 2 hours. I thought astrals pulled in 40k an hour using astral teleports? Edit: Yes, agility is a good one, people are usually impressed by an agility cape, plus it is a great help in anything you do.

99 skill help
Makes a LOT of money too, depending on what runes you do. (Even powerleveling with astrals makes money)

Guys I would like to start up again
Motivation? Go up to a pure and say he sucks. He will infuriate you so much you will want to kill every pure there is, so just go on a pvp world and do so. Or make a 1337 h4xx0r like the fally massacre.

RS Died one year ago today
Gone? Maybe you've missed something, but the duel arena is still there, and pk'ing is quite possible on PvP worlds or in the BH minigame. Staking rares and stuff... ¬_¬ And PKing is nowhere near as good as the PVP worlds. Random drops? Woooo. >_< Also Bounty Hunter failed miserably and everyone knows that. #-o So being able to stake a phat and get another isn't as good as pking full rune? Being able to pk all around the world isn't as good as only being able to do it in the wilderness? And bounty hunter is ok, not necessarily as good as the old wilderness, but it does have some advantages. Don't get me wrong, I hated these updates. Taking out unbalanced trades was understandable, however taking out the wilderness was ridiculous. But, the wilderness issue has been rectified via pvp worlds, and if you don't like random drops, just go hit your friend with some flowers and get some drop potential. Makes even more money than the old pking :wall:

FoG is the worst game ever!
Only some lunar spells like cure poison and dream are available to the hunted. :| I was a hunter.
-
FoG is the worst game ever!
I was the hunter except for when I was killed in the third round. And you can use any type of combat, can't you? I was using melee.

Closed.
What the hell is this? I was in f2p pvp about a day ago, and I got destroyed by a mage, was in full Green d'hide too. Then I put on full addy and got killed by a ranger. (This was a different account, level 55, 35 defense, 40 magic, 40 range, and I can't remember the other stats.)

FoG is the worst game ever!
Had I video software I would have recorded it. The time bar was halfway down when I killed the 98(It seemed like 3 minutes, give or take 1 minute). And I can tell you the exact conversation I had with the 65. Me:*after hitting about 5 0's* "WTF? Why can't I hit you?" Him: "Because I'm good :p" Me: "You must have at least 70 def" He starts casting spells, I see this as I die. Him: "Nope, only 53 def :p" By this point I am extremely aggravated and try to log out, my frustration grows when I see you have to go to the exit. After searching for about 20 seconds I finally find it.

FoG is the worst game ever!
I decided to play FoG today because people said it was fun and decent to train. So I go there. The first two rounds, never even spotted my opponent, the first one went on for 5 minutes, and somehow i won. The second round I think the person quit, it ended in about 15 seconds. Third round: I get paired up with a level 98. Normally I would say this is ridiculous, but their stats are supposed to be reduced. So I go to the middle, find him, and take about 3 minutes to kill him. Then I get to collect energy. He doesn't find me for a while, but when he does, 3 hits, and I'm dead. I lose. Fourth round: I get paired with a level 65. Thinking this is my chance to win fairly, I seek him quickly. I find him near the center. So I attack. And this person, who only has 53 defense, who should have been reduced by the effect, and who was not using any prayer, I can not hit him. At all. I land about 11 0's before I hit him for 5. And that was my only hit. Then HE kills ME in THREE shots using MAGIC, while I am praying against magic and am wearing full mystic with no metal armor. I just quit after that, because the is the absolute epitome of bad and unbalanced gaming. To summarize, provided you can even find your target within the hundreds of people in the center, it is impossible to kill them within reasonable time, if at all. To top it all off, the game has some fantastic awards! Yeah, and I have to play 200 games to get any of them because it is impossible for me to win, for some reason.

Getting 70 def while turning profit?
I want to get 70 defense as soon as possible, however, I can't do slayer. The tasks are either too easy(Vanakka), or too hard(Chaeldar). So, I would like to have a good training monster, fast xp, doesn't lose money. I'm willing to train on anything that doesn't lose money, gaining money isn't that important right now. I will be using a whip and full rune, possibly a warrior helm instead of full. I'm not willing to train at the rock crabs or in the wilderness or chaos tunnels, or on fire giants. I lose a lot of money on fire giants. And the only reason I'm not doing slayer is because I spend waaay too much money on my tasks, or they are just simply trivial. I will be doing slayer once I get 70 defense, so it's not like I don't like the skill.

Maging Elvarg
Dragons have high magic defense. Although Elvarg might be an exception, I wouldn't count on it. Stick with range if you have it. Otherwise, meleeing him isn't that hard. Just make sure you have a full inventory of lobs, and pot if necessary.

Is It Worth It???
It is not worth it from a money standpoint. Your drops are completely random, and by the time you get a good drop, you could have made quite a bit of money on your main.
-
Is 70 smithing worth it?
70 Smithing is not worth it, you lose money turning the bars into armor. I believe you can make money off of making addy ore and coal into bars, but aviansies are so much faster, don't bother.
-
do aviansies still work?
Not at all true, people's good luck streaks ran out is all. Great money makers still.

Pick the name i should use for my char
1) They are made to draw attention. Those types of names say "Hey! Look at me!" 2) Offensive names are the stupidest and most insulting things on runescape. 3)Misspelling the is NOT cool. :wall: -.-

Quick question about Swan Song Quest
There is a lot of fishing, so I don't advise it. Besides, doesn't take too long to get those last 2 levels.
-
A couple of f2p questions.
Kill minotaurs at SoS for iron arrows, use iron arrows on them for ranging experience and delicious irony. Note that except for smelting bars, anything you do will lose money at smithing. The best way would probably be rings of forging + iron. Mine the oars at Varrock East, craft/enchant the rings if you can, otherwise buy them for about 1.1k each, and make plates to alch to recoup some of your losses. Rings of smelting are p2p. He is f2p. Stick with steel bars. That's really the only reasonable way to get smithing up. Even though the xp is terrible...

Pick the name i should use for my char
Quite frankly, all of those names make you sound like the immature, inconsiderate scaper that I have grown to hate. However, if you are going to stick with those, go with foxy.

85 Mining Worth it?
From a less money based standpoint, mining rune is definitely not worth it. Yes, you're going to look at my sig and say "Hey, you only have 59 mining, you can't say anything about this!" But trust me, I know what I'm talking about. Most of the time when mining rune, you are world hopping. This causes a lot of afking, and can be very boring. Sure, you can have a movie or something in the background, but it really doesn't work like that. The small time frame lets little time for other forms of entertainment, however, these times are frequent and you have nothing to do during that. Meanwhile with runecrafting, you have to be on constant alert when going through the abyss, constantly looking for an area through which you can proceed through. There are monsters constantly attacking, unlike rune mining. And although the threat of revs is there for rune mining, that is more of an annoyance than thrill. Runecrafting has lots of movement, however the only movement for rune mining is banking. Overall, rune mining is faster money, perhaps much more so, however it is a lot less entertaining, and perhaps not wise for someone planning to make it their primary money source. However, those who do it for extended periods of time, my hat is off to you. =D> =D>

What if you had more inventory slots?
I take extreme offense when people start insulting my intelligence, especially over the internet where you don't know me so can't make any valid claims and I can't prove to you that I graduated top of my senior class in high school and currently attend a prestigious college. (Unless, of course, you are referring to room temperature in Kelvin  ) You're not getting MY point. Just about everything would cost less, including the supplies needed to go on a trip. We both have equally valid points, just different perspectives. Come to think of it, maybe I am looking at this the wrong way. I'm not sure anything would change, except more experience. Sure, skillers can produce more materials, but those materials would be used up at almost the same rate since everyone has access to those materials. More drops wouldn't mean a thing either, since people would be making money faster on this train of thought because prices would remain the same and they would be able to sell more and hence make the money to afford the drops faster, keeping demand in line with the increased supply. Overall, I think the effects on the economy are too unpredictable to be sure of any of these possible outcomes. I was the first one to say the prices would not change, if you just give it some thought, you would realize only rare drops and such would change. Sure, you have more room for getting materials, but if you think about it, it means that skillers will be using these mats at an accelerated pace.

Making money.
Catching red chins with hunter. Get 4 box traps and as much bait as you can buy. Stay there as long as possible, sell chins, buy as much bait as possible, and rinse and repeat. Or, if you don't want to bother buying bait, just catch them without it. You can stay there indefinitely, but it takes longer.
-
What if you had more inventory slots?
Pros: More room for fletching, woodcutting, smithing, etc. Cons: Can't think of any. My first thought was that raw material prices would drop, but then buyable skillers would just use the mats at a faster rate. So, works out better for everyone.

Runescape on Xbox Live/PS3 online?
What about the 12 something million who already have the console? Rs on a console wouldn't be aimed at getting their current customers to pay more, but to attract the console market. It would probably work too. Only problem is, they would have to make the game from scratch, as all of it is in java(most of it anyway).
