  1. Doesn't sound like a problem, a more experience tech person could tell you on the spot, but I need more details to diagnose the problem. What site were you visiting at the time? Did the pop up appear shortly after the page loaded, and were there any warnings from IE or Firefox that a pop-up was blocked? The Netflix pop-up on tip.it's homepage is reported as blocked by Firefox for me, but it still gets through. If there were no warnings, you likely have something inside your computer causing this. Either way, it is safe to close the window as long as you make sure the X button is outside the actual web page. I'll try to post again if you give some more details.
  2. You obviously do not know modern kids.
  3. Thanks for the replys, this is actually pretty useful to me right now.
  4. I need a program to pick something randomly out of a list of objects. This is a strange request I know, but, well, I just need this. No download would be preferable, but I'm willing to do so from a credible site.
  5. Don't bother with SC tools for resource gathering skills. You're better off with an adze or dragon axe, I believe the adze has been proven to be faster than an SC tool. The fastest xp comes from well, chopping the whole time. Wasting time on getting tools is bad, especially when the best trees are far from a bank.
  6. You lose your items, all but 3 if you don't have a skull, all if you do have a skull, but they don't get your items, they get random drops based on their drop potential, it's complicated. I don't understand the whole thing, so that's all I can tell you.
  7. You can fight anywhere on pvp worlds, the wilderness increases the range of people you can fight.
  8. No, you can't fight players in the wilderness anymore unless you are on a pvp server. This is indicated at the world select screen.
  9. Only other way is to get your runecrafting up and make them your self. :|
  10. No, you definitely want range and mage backup. Mage adds magic defense, and should be used for combat, and range should also be used for combat. Depending on whether you are p2p or not, you will also want more attack, f2p should stop at 40 though. All of these will also get you more hp, which is good. The trick to being good at pking is mixing the combat styles well.
  11. Since you're going to bandits, you obviously prefer speed(as they have no good drops). I would suggest yaks instead, and using iron or bronze knives. Black uses a lot more money and quite frankly, doesn't give that great of results. Welcome to tip.it by the way. :
  12. You only have to fight a level 92, a couple of 40's in a multi combat zone, and do shilo village before that. I think your best bet is just suffering through the range experience that death to the dorgeshuun gives you and steal charms that way. Seriously, getting 99 summoning the normal way takes a long time, getting it you way, you must have the patience of a saint.
  13. ^ This. That is as fast as you are going to get at your level without merchanting and NPC trading at the same time.
  14. How could I have missed those? But yeah, use these.
  15. :wall: I need to lrn2read.
  16. You're probably a guy, so try this. Black cav Black ele' top and bottom Black flowers Obby shield Black gloves Fury(once you get more money) And well... I don't know any black boots, Canifis MIGHT have some, probably not though. Improvise for this That's a good set up. White ele' looks much better though.
  17. what he said but no whip get a dlong/rune scim/ watever and go kill Eh? A whip is the best defense trainer in the game, and it doesn't even require a quest. It's a bit costly, but with that mining, I'm sure he can get it.
  18. Oh ok, I didn't know there was an anvil near the blast furnace. Still, I would like some other skills to work on, I like to take brakes from a skill every 5 hours or so.
  19. I can only answer a few questions, but in the future, this should go in the tech forum. A W.E.P will not help you as the hackers will be remotely accessing your computer, the wep only protects from people using your internet. If they even try to get in through your computer. Chances are they will just try the black market information method, gather info about you on myspace, etc. and use it to figure out your password. Hackers can not(I believe) crack bank pins, and either way, it is best to have one, as if it is possible, not every hacker will have the ability to do so. And Norton is not a good anti-virus program(found this out from others), however, it can help if people try to get into your computer and hack you that way. I don't think you will be hacked though, it seems unlikely that they would get revenge on you just for leaving the clan.
  20. Why would I need 60 smithing? And how does the blast furnace method work? Do you just sell the bars to the shop? And I really don't want to go farther than 45 herblore, I just want it for the legend's quest. What is a good way to get the last 3 levels while spending very little money? (I can use a slow method, but I would prefer not to gather supplies myself, herbs excluded if necessary.)
  21. At this very moment, I have 1968k in cash. I also have 500k worth of p pots on the G.E and an obby shield on the G.E. That brings me up to about 2.8 mil, which means if I spent 2mil, I would still have plenty of money. So, what should I spend it on? I don't want to buy a whip right now, I made some money off my old one and the price keeps on going up. I'm looking for the most cost-effective ways to level. Some priorities right now are 45 herblore and a much much higher smithing level. However, the smithing can be put off for a while, I don't want to tackle it right now. I guess what I'm looking for is a good cost-effective way to get 45 herblore, as well as some good skills to level up with the rest of the money. My unlisted skills are 27 construction and 21 summoning. NOTE: If summoning is a good option, about what level can I expect to make profits through making pouches?
  22. Toadflax actually has the highest profit for the average amount of herbs you get from a plant, so if you have bad luck or average luck, go with toadflax.
  23. Just give us your rs name, should be plenty enough. EDIT: Anyway, here are some profitable options, I will name some pros and cons that I know of, and give you a run down on the ultimate best choices. Hunter: Fast, and good money. Makes 25 mil I believe if you hunt red chins ASAP. Fishing: Sharks make A LOT of money, but are very slow. If you can do swan song, that provides the best way to get 99 fishing, monkfish are fast xp and good money. Woodcutting: Slow, painful, and not a lot of money. The fastest way is simply dropping, but if you have some startup cash, there are some strategies to train somewhat quickly and make cash. Mining: That's a big no-no. Only get this if you want the cape or absolutely love the skill. The fastest method is dropping ores in the desert, having to refill your water skins. Other methods are mind numbingly slow, but will make a lot of money. Agility: Only for the cape, costs more than people may think, what with food, is VERY boring, and will not make money. Construction: A money sink. If you have 200+ million gp, its worth it for the cape and house, but other than that... Cooking: Depends on your method, but all methods are incredibly fast 99s. I've seen people get 3 million xp in a day. If you go for profit, it is a bit slower, however, still very fast. Crafting: I'm not an expert, but I believe there are no ways to make money off of this skill training quickly. I believe battle staves are good money and xp wise, but you would need high combat and agility. Farming: An incredibly high profit to xp ratio, however, can be VERY slow unless you have the necessary teleports. Firemaking: Pretty self-explanatory, a big money sink. Fletching: Can make some money and is fast. Pretty boring though. Herblore: A big big money sink, only for the cape. I believe high levels can make money, but good luck getting there. Magic: Only humidify is able to make money now(I think, not that big of a mage), or possible the magic training arena. Prayer: Will cost at least 92 mil, and is very boring. Runecrafting: Makes huge amounts of money, but you will need high defense and hp, or high summoning. Very boring, and has some requirements that seem out of your league. Smithing: Only money making methods are incredibly slow, I believe they make around 10k xp an hour.(Cannonballs anyone?) Thieving: Though high agility and hp helps, skillers get this 99 no problem. Makes about 7mil pickpocketing knights, which is a somewhat fast way. No experience with any other methods.
  24. For both of those questions, chins are the way to go. Getting 99 range with them is incredibly expensive though, knowing your budget will help in finding a solution.
  25. For the brawling gloves question, the coal mine in the wildy. Skeletons can be annoying, but its the best way to get all that xp out of the gloves. As for summoning, I have no clue. I got my paltry 21 through tears of guthix.
