I want to get 141k or 606k RC exp... level 3... advice?
Ugh, you can't do astrals... that has got to be a pain... I think glory teleing fire runes or nat tabbing are the only other fast ways, but those are expensive, fires don't sell and nat tabbing is pretty expensive. You could always try mind runes, or nat running when you get of level, but with minds be prepared for boredom and bring a lot of startup money for nats.

Runescape does not work on my Mac computer!
To the first post, I don't think you have the best OS for the job. I thought RS required higher... something about 10.8 i believe i saw. Doesn't sound right though, I don't think they came out with anything past 10.4...

Can you believe this guy?
I figured i wouldn't have to drain my prayer more if I just seperated myself from it. Didn't realize the door jammed. Oh well... Lesson learned. I'm over it. My wallet, on the other hand...

Can you believe this guy?
I was at the waterfall killing fire giants. I bury some bones, and a shade appears. I forgot i had my prayer drained by the spiders, so i try to ditch him, and the fire giants aggro. I run, and try to close the doors so the shade can't get me. This jerk opens the doors constantly, and we fight opening and closing the door. The doors jam, and the shade gets in. Out of prayer and health, he says gf noob. I die, losing about 100k worth of stuff. Then he messages me saying "U got owned noob". I can't believe this... nothing to gain, and he just tries to kill me. Why? He said it was funny. Yet if someone did that to him, he would probably go on a rampage. This just angers me to no end.

Turning 1mil into 40mil
though 53 range at avansies isnt going to be good at all... It's not possible either, you need 70 range to get into the eyrie. Well, you could hunt them down in the center, but that's a waste.

Turning 1mil into 40mil
Heh, well, I need 40mil for skilling really, I'm more of a skiller, though my stats don't really show it. :| 40mil? Well, that would give away the money making secret that I have planned for after I obtain it. Although I am indebted to your help, that's the sort of secret that would ruin the economy and take away my one chance for money... Anyway, thanks for the help, aviancies it is i guess. Are the addy bars they drop noted? If not, I'm not looking forward to banking after 23 kills... (always keep some gear in my inventory in case something goes wrong, thus the 23 spaces.)

crafting
Emerald bracelets used to gain money, if you had the patience to wait a couple of days to sell them. Now? I'm not so sure, but they can't have changed much.

Turning 1mil into 40mil
I always get my approval up every day, as well as taking care of the kingdom as soon as I log on. This won't make much sense, but if I log on in the same place that I was skilling last night, I will still be in my mood. Going to the kingdom just breaks that mood, and I lose more money than I gain off of it. I know MTK works for other people, but it just doesn't work for me. One of my little quirks. And so aviansies are in GWD? Which lair, so I know which stat I need at 70.
-
Turning 1mil into 40mil
I don't even know where aviansies are... Is there anything I could train on with range to make money at my level? Typically i lose money slayering with range or magic. :x Other than those the idea sounds fine, I just want to wait for other ideas. And to the MTK comment, yes I use fairy rings, it's just when I break streak with something I'm doing, it's sort of like losing your "mood", I need to get my rythmn back for the particular tasks and not get sidetracked with another skill or friends.
-
Turning 1mil into 40mil
I'm not going to bother explaining my stats, as they are much more accessable in my sig. I'm willing to train any skill that doesn't require money loss or money at all, 1mil doesn't give me much xp for the money bleeding skills. :| I hear hunting red chins gives good money, any estimates on that? Also, I have been trying the vial running technique for the last 5 hours, just not my cup of tea. I really am not fond of NPC trading, besides merchanting, I like to see xp appear for my work. (There is no work in merchanting. Unfortunately, I don't know any good merchanting items, suggestions would be appreciated.) I am also not fond of MTK for the sole reason that I spend an hour getting to the island, getting my approval back up, collecting my resources, and selling them, then trying to get back on task. Inefficient I know, I am hardcore concentrated or take forever... So anyway, anything skill related, combat related, or merchanting tips would be appreciated. I am not fond of slayer, because I have gotten blue dragons 10 times in a row, and as you can see, those things are out of my league. (5 kills per trip is ftl...) If I changed slayer masters I suppose I could do that, but unless slayer is my absolute best option, I would prefer not to do it. Any way, thanks in advance for the help!

Things that DO NOT make me a noob
^ A) That's exactly what rants are about, most people don't care. B) That's the exact kind of response people hate, and mods crack down on.

Why can't F2P have...?
Welcoem to Tip.It  But I have to disagree. I really don't see any need for new armor. it would only complicate things more in PvP I think. We've already had a new quest this past Halloween, and we have one coming up for Christmas. Though they aren't permanent, they're still F2P quests at the moment. And I also think it's a no on the new Achievement diary. We already have one that acts as a beginners guide to Runescape and not to mention has given F2P an awesome ring. What about armor with the same stats as rune but different looks? Erm... Treasure Trails awards not good enough for ya? It's the only thing MEMBERS have with the same stats rune. It is rune with a different look, green, white, red, blue, gold, and all gold. Don't get me wrong though, I do believe non members should get more content, a couple of harder quests and capes of achievement would be welcome. Seriously, the hardest quest can be completed at level 34... that's what level i did dragon slayer at on my second account. And if you have 99 in something, doesn't matter if you're f2p or not, you should be able to get one of those shiny capes. Take away the def bonueses if that's what you're worried about.

Things that DO NOT make me a noob
Though I believe someone ranting about being called a noob is a little immature, you are absolutely right. There's really no reason to call someone a noob at all.

RS Died one year ago today
*Points out that at one time I saw a mod ban over 100 bots at the willows at Draynor on one world, and he said that the world wasn't that bad* About 120 worlds at the time i believe, 140k players on. 100*120= 12,000 =D> That's less than 130,000 people. Yeah, your point = dead.

Lucky? How am I lucky?
As this is a completely one sided conversation, let me present the point of the well informed other side of the arguement. First off, let me clarify as stating that those who spent hours grinding for their partyhats or developed their own get rich quick schemes to obtain said partyhat, I am in no way diminishing or trying to diminish the profoundness of your achievement. It takes quite a bit of concentration and perservereance to obtain the money for these items, or any 99. If I seem to in some way to defile your achievement, I would like to offer my sincerest apologies. However, the profoundness of your achievement brings me to my arguement. If you'll take a look at my draynor.net signature, you will see that my highest stat is 78 woodcutting. While this is good, but not great, by regular standards, the elite community at tip.it would consider this subpar. However, obtaining this level reqiured most of, if not all, of my patience. I quit runescape for about a year shortly after I achieved this level. My point in this ancedote is that people with 99s, especially quickly obtained ones, consider that they spent a short amount of time in this skill. A couple of all nighters with red bulls or some afking whilst doing homework for a couple of days is not that difficult for you with these 99s. However, I, being blessed with the miniscule amount of patience that I have, am not able to do these things for a variety of reasons. 1) Parental control. My parents would NEVER, under any circumstances, allow me to pull an all nighter playing a video game. They would not allow this if I were studying or doing homework, and they most certainly think my academics are more important than some video game. Also, all my homework must be completed before I am allowed to play a videogame. Therefore, I can not simply stick a load of cannonballs into a furnace and do homework for 15 minutes. 2) Little patience. As I stated before, I have very little patience. However, this is an ability that you are born with. Naturally, anyone with a right mind and enough motivation can wait a very long time for something, myself included. But for some trivial task, such as making 50k cannonballs, some people simply have the natural ability to be able to wait for this task to be completed. This is not me, and I must make my own get rich quick tactics to obtain my money, as I simply can not stand grinding. 3)Unfortunately, I have forgotten my last reason due to the length of time it took to write this post while completing a quest. Perhaps that was my reason, bad memory, although I doubt it. I'll reserve this spot in case my memory refreshes. I know that these reasons apply to other people as well, especially the little eight year olds who found this game on Miniclip. :wall: However, their excuse for saying "You're so lucky" is likely just that, they believe that you are lucky. While inaccurate at best, you are stooping to their level by saying such comments as "One must take into account that the majority of people are stupid." and critizing people for thinking that you are lucky. You must look on the poor side of the fence before you formulate an opinion. And yes, I have been on the rich side of the fence. When people my level saw me wearing armor that cost an excess of one million gold and holding a whip, then called me lucky. I told them luck had nothing to do with it, which seemed to stupefy them, and walked away. I have been on both sides of the fence. And while the majority of people who will either call you a noob or no-lifer when you have a fletching cape who also call you lucky for having a godsword or two do not understand what they are saying, believe me when I say that some people have good reason to call you lucky when they say "You're so lucky because you have x item".

The link to Tai Bwo Wanni Trio(the god awful quest that it is) does not appear on the quests page. You can find the guide through various links on different pages on the site and the search tool, however, I thought i would point this out.

Level 54 mining=money?
eh? it was there just yesterday... am I hallucinating? :ohnoes:

Strenght 99
Bandits are a terrible choice. Low experience rates and crappy drops. If you want bad drops, just do zombies, much more experience. Or if you are rich, do the dueling arena with d long method. Requires quite a few high level friends but is possible. Also, slayer is faster xp than bandits.

Level 54 mining=money?
Iron is decent money... You just have to get a lot more(not a problem with the lower competition and fast spawns) and wait a little to sell. 1k isn't that much ore, and that much iron would net him 150k.
-
Level 54 mining=money?
Quest pure on f2p? Ok... mining is a terrible money maker on f2p despite common conceptions. By common conceptions, i mean the thousands of people also mining preventing you from making any money. If you have a good internet connection, you can make some decent money on worlds 1 and 6, provided you use the correct mining spots. I don't have any experience with coal on f2p, however, the best spot for iron is definately the spot south of varrock EAST bank.
-
Level 54 mining=money?
Well, if you want to use mining for money, from a purely financial standpoint, pure ess is the fastest. However, the experience is terrible, so if you want to make experience in the process, go to the coal trucks, or mine iron.

Shilo Village quest help!
I just started shilo village, and I need to show the belt to tao bwo wanni's chief, problem is, he won't discuss the belt at all. Using the belt on him does nothing, and I've tried every conversation path. I just started Tai Bwo Wanni Trio when i talked to him, and now that i talk to him again, he will only talk about that quest or the village. Any way to rectify this?
