  1. A friend told me. What i wanna know is how the original people found out. Most of them were from America, so it doesn't make much sense...
  2. Should've quoted, now you're just plagiarizing!
  3. You have those stats and have a good WoW account? WoW, that's impressive.
  4. Well, if you have a lot of money to spend, go with Alienware. They are simply the best, great customer service and quality parts, as well as being almost as good as custom made computers, if not better. Just do yourself a favor, and don't get an HP. They are highly overrated, mine broke down in 7 months, no viruses or anything. The computer I am using is a ZT, and I got it at a fantastic price and it runs great. Good performance and no problems with it yet. Only problem is, it has Vista(then again, what doesn't?). With its low price though, you can just buy an XP package somewhere. Overall though, I would wait to get a computer for a year or 2 when the next windows version comes out, but if you are strap for cash, buy something now that isn't too expensive, you will likely want one when the new windows OS comes out.
  5. I took the time to find the formula for the difference in experience each level, here it is. NOTE: This is not accurate for lower levels: The Y-intercept is at 55k... however it will provide a very accurate representation of levels past 99. .1058998899X^4-15.99644607X^3+795.2636917X^2-13770.03554+55365.0059 If anyone wants to work out the numbers for the total at the specific levels that would be appreciated, if I did that for the formula, it would be incorrect. :)
  6. If account trading were allowed, the fastest levelers and money makers would run the market, and they'd be lucky to get $300 bucks for a maxed account... so I wouldn't sell it  ;)
  7. Redemption could have saved you there, you were probably out of prayer though by the sounds of your story.
  8. I've allowed tip.it cookies on my computer and it hasn't fixed the problem. I will try clearing private data, if not, it's time to search for a good virusscanner. I have norton doesn't work that well, of course, anything that comes packeged with Vista is bound to fail... :wall: EDIT: Problem solved, clearing private data works wonders.
  9. I have the same problem, and cookies are allowed on mine. Is there another answer?
  10. Agility! Really, it can make you some money if you run flax or bow strings or NPC trade.
  11. It works, it just doesn't update to pick up new versions of viruses, etc. I'll run it now i guess.
  12. 7 is the magic number! Or is it? I forgot...
  13. Banned for ultra small text, text coloring, and because something is going on with my computer and it's pissing me off.
  14. That didn't do it. I'll scan my comp using Norton, but I haven't renewed, so it may not pick up anything that's happening.
  15. Ok, I'll check that out, but things just keep getting worse... now IE is frequently crashing, sometimes not even when I have firefox on in the background. I think I need to get spybot and check out my computer... #-o How do you change that setting?
  16. Tabs are fixed, but reinstallation did not solve my logging in problem. I will log in, and it will ask me to return to the board index. Any link i click on will automatically log me out. I have tried everything, going to a different site, clicking on user control panel, if I go to a different site, it will make me log back in and I am stuck in the same process. If I click on user control panel, it will ask me to log in, over and over. I think maybe cookies are affecting this. Every time I visit the forum with firefox, it marks all topics as read.
  17. Ok, didn't realize the control t shortcut, that got tabs to work. I'll try a reinstall, is there a link on the file?
  18. I just downloaded firefox, and noticed that it did not have a tab system like IE. So i tried to open another window, to no avail. I got the loading icon in place of my cursor, then it dissappeared and I did not get another window. Also, when I tried to log on to tip.it, everything would run just fine, until I hit log in. Then, once I went to any page on the forum, I would be logged out. The process repeated until I closed firefox and opened IE. Any solution to these? And, in case it matters, I imported all cookies and such from IE to Firefox.
  19. Literally impossible unless u somehow manage to level it solely on genies etc. In which case, you'd waste even more of your life than the average player, just waiting for lamps! Best of luck tho... Does everyone forget the beauty of rings of recoil as well as lunar magicks and friends to assist you? Get hit once, ring of recoil, have friend kill the monster. Sure, its a bit slow and you only get half the experience, however, it is doable without lamps and the like.
  20. Why do you need to do barbarian fishing? Can't you just use a barb-tailed harpoon? And yes, farming herbs is much better time wise, having an amulet of farming tell you when the herb is diseased makes it simple too.
  21. I'd love to see warhammers made useful, possibly a spec that ignores armor bonuses, great K.O. weapon against non-pures. I also liked the short sword while I was a non-member, they have to useful attack styles(stab and slash) and are faster than scimitars(though not nearly as strong). Spec for a sword... I'd have to go for something that sped up your attack speed, possibly for 5 attacks. Maybe make it faster than a dagger, and possibly boost the power slightly. Not much, but enough to break the regular max hit by 2 or 3.
  22. It can't be that much. It is actually, quite a bit. Look at pures training on rapid versus mains conserving money using accurate. The difference in speed is significant. That is bull. Use your freaking head. For melee the only things affecting accuracy are the player's attack level, the monster/player's defence, and the attack bonus of the weapon. The only things affecting damage are the player's attack level and his/her strength bonus, and the spirit shields. If you look at a longsword's stats, it has marginally higher accuracy and somewhat higher strength bonus than a scimitar. I'm going to test it, though, just to make sure. I'm very confident about what the result will be. I believe what he meant was the damage over a set period of time, not damage per hit. The reason people view the scimitar as better than a longsword is that the miniscule strength bonus a longsword gives is under normal circumstances not enough to increase a players maximum hit. And of course, people are too ignorant to realize the factor an accuracy bonus does, however both of these factors are still not enough to counter the longswords poor speed, which I have found to be at an 7:5 ratio with the scimitar, higher being slower. If the attack style made that much of a difference then you shouldn't be killing them in the first place. Umm... wtf? If the attack style makes that much of a difference so that you do more damage with a certain weapon, why should you not fight a certain monster? That makes absolutely no sense.
  23. You used the word "best" that's the repeatable action that gives the most experience, however, it is horribly inefficient. Well if someone is planning on killing mith dragons anyway, might as well save up the chewed bones and use them for this, that's what I plan on doing with my brawling gloves anyway. Not sure quite how quick it is to gather mangled bones but once you have them the rest of fairly easy. Don't listen, he's just marketing his Dag bones and luring you into a pk world so he can get some corrupt dragon off you... :ohnoes:
  24. Prayer, summoning, herblore, or construction. Those are just so annoying...
  25. Just the energy regen, unfortunately. That G.E shortcut would be so useful... :wall: #-o
