  1. Well, PC isn't the fastest way unless you can take down the portals within 10 seconds of them being unlocked, and you should always look for the Pest Control world with the highest population, there should be at least 500 people there. Only problem is, most of them stray away from veteran. To answer your question, there are PC clans, they speed up the experience by insane amounts. To find one, simply google search pest control clan, or post on the RSOF or here that you are looking for a pest control clan, presumable 100+.
  2. Very interesting, this really puts things into perspective. Also explains why agility is such a pain to train... :wall:
  3. It's not a glitch... it's just simple lag. They start the attack when they are next to you, but the animation doesn't start until you are a couple of squares away. For the most extreme example, look at far casters. They start a spell at the furthest range possible, yet the spell doesn't launch until you have ran at least 5 squares.
  4. Scimitar is a little slower than a dagger... or has that changed? Either way, saying the longsword is the worst weapon is not biased. It has no advantages over any weapon. And to the above, he has forgotten many weapons.
  5. Absolutely not. The first few levels were fun, but around the 40s-60s or 70s, you have a decent level but still can't make any money at a decent rate. It is terribly frustrating. ^ And you can't walk near a java based game, the only way you could was through jagex headquarters. Funny though.
  6. Erm... English is my primary language and it still doesn't make much sense to me, some of the grammar rules have so many exceptions there may as well not be a rule. I've been learning german for the last 3 months, I can already hold a conversation in german. English is ridiculously complex, and I would have to disagree with anyone who says it is a simple language. Sure, the basic rules are simple, but try distinguishing whether or not to use swim, swam, swum, or dived and dove. By the way, all of those words are in fact, words, coming from an english Ph.D., who also says there are disputes among professors about which word is correct in certain situations.
  7. The autoers section is completely wrong anyway, those inflations and deflations are victims of merchanting and skiller clans, respectively.
  8. Thanks for that, but right now, I'm more worried about my dragonhides selling. I'd better not be stuck with them. :ohnoes:
  9. To all. Or you could try fletching...
  10. I usually hear people using void at 99 range if they aren't flaunting their wealth with a robin hood. It seems like it would be useful at that level too.
  11. Wow, didn't know that. That's not too unrealistic either. 500k... That's a great idea, thanks. I'll see how the tanning works out, then make some startup money from it. I have to pray pot most of my slayer tasks or I have to make way too many bank trips.
  12. Well, any one of those stats could make you money, spin flax, do slayer, kill dragons, mine, kill aviansies and smith bars(though you make more money selling them:x). Unless you're working towards a specific money goal, it's better to just keep saving while doing your normal tasks.
  13. Best. Grammar error. Ever. Lol, slayering... Well, its not necessarily incorrect. It is funny though, surprised i didn't notice. For the dragon hide tanning method, how much starting cash do I need? For oh, say, an hour.
  14. I was researching that for a while, I had hoped to find something, but got nothing. If I had taken Business computer programming this year i could've made a program to cross-reference prices and find it for me... :wall: Oh well, I'll look again, got any hints for me?
  15. Crumble undead is also a good obtion, both f2p and p2p. F2p it does massive damage, but your training options are limited. P2p it isn't as good, however, with the void knight mace you can auto-cast. Find a good enemy and you've got some easy training.
  16. Astrals arent good until double runes, and even then they arent as good as double laws. I remember doing 1-48 rc 90% on air runes. Got me alot in the long run. 50+ = good. Use GOP and turn into nature runes, use the gp on numerous water tele tabs, and make mud runes. (must test) Astrals are fantastic xp, but the profits are terrible. Some people say they can get up to 40k an hour just doing astrals. That's a lot...
  17. Tiaras are the best xp he could get with 3 combat. Airs with gloves are also good, problem is, he loses money till 33 rc. That won't take long though, and with 99 herblore, you should be able to scoff at that amount of money.
  18. Should I just set this off as a long long term goal and just train melee with slayer? Seems like the only thing I can do right now. And I'm getting scared. When I fletch the last bow of my inventory, it says you don't have enough inventory space to withdraw this many items. But when I'm withdrawing bows, it says I make the log into a longbow... :ohnoes:
  19. You lose that much cause you made a mistake and died twice. Normally you only loose 700k on ranging when you range for like 10-20 hours, and that's with semi-expensive bolts. I know you know that, but still, dont let 2 deaths change your view on something. The reason I am so biased against it now is that I never made money off of mage or range in the past. It was a pain training the skill that it seemed like would never benefit me. Now i have lost all this money that I have saved up(which I have no clue where it came from, it just happens to appear in my bank, if I knew I would repeat the action) and I have gotten nowhere, I'm still at an extremely low level. It's getting a little frustrating trying all these money making methods and them not only not working, but making me lose money. And yes, I used the safe spot at the fire giants, the giants would just back away and pull me out, so I would run back in and it would continue doing that. And of course, they like to always hit a 10 on me as I am running back in. I'm beginning to think I suck at combat. So I've trying to skill but the only fun skills lose lots and lots of money. It seems weird that I have to work for my fun...
  20. I don't always bag it, I used to love slayer. Now I'm using a bunch of food every task and getting NO profit whatsoever. I thought fire giants would be good, but they are terrible... I got a task of them from Chaeldar and died trying to range them.
  21. Can't do aviansies, lost 700k just getting 55 range... with that track record, I would need the 40mil just to get 70 range. Slayer is just not working out for me. 40k an hour is NOT good. I'll look at the chaos tunnels... but it seems a little dangerous for me. I always seem to have some sort of bad luck when just praying... Who am I kidding, I have bad luck period. Got killed by a random yesterday and lost 3k bolts(not my fault but alas), and I died in lumby cave, again losing 3k bolts. You would think they would give you a better warning than, it's dangerous. Anyway, I'll see how the chaos tunnels fare after I get done with fletching...
  22. I don't think so, but you could just put in your sig what you are looking for and how to contact you. That should work.
  23. *points to 32 runecrafting* I was thinking about getting 40 and crafting astrals, great xp and makes some money, but of course, I need 65 mage...
  24. One run into the abyss almost kills me... I can't go in there. And I simply don't have the cash to do teleports. If I did it on a small scale, it would take an hour for 100 runes...
  25. OK, so i've just lost 700k in 2 hours using ranged... Is there any other way I could make money?
