Farming

So im thinking of going for 99 woodcutting. Yes, I said woodcutting in a farming topic. The reason is im thinking of doing willows, and i want some profit.

So i was thinking of farming every so often. Not every day.

Is this a good idea? What should i farm? Also, where are all the patches? I cant use mr arms or whatever its called :(

Thanks

Do the quest for my arm's patch, then start farming herbs whenever you feel like it (toadflax/kwuarm/snapdragon/ranarr).

f you're not after a specific level, just only do that. If you want a bit of extra xp, plant willows and curries too, they're not expensive and you'll still make a big profit off the herbs.

All the patch locations are in the tip.it guide.

Good luck farming! :D

Plant the highest level trees, and herbs you can. When I trained farming, I too did it on an ad hoc basis. I would do a round of herbs/trees as soon as I logged in, and I would repeat the herbs before logging off (assuming you play more than 1.5hrs per session).

You get nice xp from the trees, and decent profit from herbs.Use magic secataurs and always use super compost. Use all available allotment sites, and tree sites that are within easy reach.

I would disagree with Alcoolj's remarks on planting the highest level tree and herbs.

Since you are woodcutting, you will focus mainly on profit, and doing most trees consistently will make a huge loss (although oak-maple should be fine.)

For herbs, if you want the most experience do the highest you can, for the most profit you should do Toadflax, Ranarrs or Snapdragons.
