Reading this guide made me miss farming. Dont update it, this outdated version makes me feel like I still know how to farm lol

^ quality post. Haven't listened to metal in ages but I really should. Can recommend watchtower, once you get past the vocals they're really good. Also Gorod and Gorguts, though those are more prog death.

No but really, lol has a different meaning. Or at least to me it does. I use lol when something is actually funny, which isnt that often. L or l is more like something you add to the end of a sentence to make sure people dont interpret it literally. Like ehm while in a dungeon and some guy dies for the 4th time what, you died again? or what, you died again? l pretty terrible example but i cant think of something better atm. Basically the l is there to show you're not serious or annoyed or whatever

Its just that training skills anymore feels so pointless now. Previously you actually had an advantage when you had access to good moneymaking methods but now like everyone can get money and grind a random skill. Thats exactly why I didnt like gathering skills etc before (other than them being [bleep]ing boring), but now all skills except dung have this. I actually want to get into dung again but that would also feel like a waste of time since I already have all useful chaotics, plus i get annoyed by fail teams l Guess ill find a fps and go play that, at least thats actually fun and requires practice while being a waste of time.

Didnt bother reading the whole thread but i feel the same way. Monster hunting is kinda fun but besides being kinda fun its turned essentially useless, training any skill is just a matter of getting some money by merching and then grinding (or just grinding at no cost). Things dont really have an incentive anymore that make you do them and make you feel satisfied when you have, at least it is that way for me. Before free trade i used to do farm runs just because i could, and to increase bank worth. Now it is possible to make 10x that in less time (you can also lose it of course, but the point still applies: money feels worthless). But meh it's probably better for the game, lots of people seem to enjoy staking/pking all day

Grats. Thinking about doing some levels there too. Gonna do one level at a time probably though :-) Did you use mousekeys? Started using those on con and I kinda liked it. should make them more bearable. Tried using mousekeys for a bit but didnt like them much, you have to punch and pickpocket so you have to switch between manually clicking and mousekeys which is annoying while watching movies. They're much more useful for cons tbh. Only got like 150k/h average too cause I just couldnt be bothered to pay more attention, its a bit of a drawback from thieving those monkeys that you literally get 0 xp for every sec you dont click/afk.

Just 87-91 fish left for finished stats but idk if I want to spend time on that just to be able to do diary

those figures do not really say much tbh. I plugged in myself and got like 19.5k hours left so the difference is only like a year with most other top players

I'd say it could work, but only if your combat level would get recalculated every time your inv/gear/levels change. And food should be excluded, or your combat level would change every time you eat something and you would be able to tell when someone is nearly out of food So, basically your offensive and defensive abilities. Not herblore level but potions in inventory would be counted, not only magic level but also the spells youre able to cast with the runes you have, melee levels + potential att/str bonuses, etc. It would get really complicated, but if jagexwould design it right it would make fights more even. Based on actual ability of the equipment, inventory and skills you have, you could find an opponent with the same combat rating and have a fight that actually has to be won by the player's skill. The system as we have it now isnt broken though, either come with a really good new system or just leave it as it is.

Wait what? That shouldnt make a difference, ely activates for 70% of hits regardless of how much or by what you actually get hit. Avg damage reduction will be 17.5%/monster. I see where youre coming from tho, but the end result should still be 17.5% reduced in total

What I figured from stokenuts post was that if no one used prayers/curses (can be on curses tho), she wouldnt use soul split. That also explains the ;) at the end of the jagex mod post
