The one where you have to plant sweetcorn and use a scarecrow to protect it, I have planted the sweetcorn and put in the scare crow but the diary wont update.

Am I doing anything wrong?

then just dig out your scarecrow and replant it.. and if it still doesnt work, make sure that it is sweetcorn that you're growing.

Got it, replanting the scarecrow worked :)

I'm going to pose this just incase anybody is searching:

As far as i have seen, from peoples accounts, it's glitchy - kinda. But, the way to do it to make sure everything runs smoothly:

- Plant sweetcorn in both patches

- water them

- when the water disappears ( = one growth cycle, os you don't NEED to water, but it's an ace way to make sure you don't miss a beat) plant your scarecrow.

- It will update at that point. You don't need t harvest anything, or let anything grow.

I don't know how valid this info is, but it's what i did and it worked perfectly. It seems you have to wait one growth cycle before planting your scarecrow. Good luck everybody.
