Changin DVD file formats from .mpg to .bup or .vob or .ifo

Featured Replies

We have a movie on our computer. We are trying to burn it to a DVD Nero only burns .bup, .vob, and .ifo.

Is there anyway I can change the format from .mpg to any of those???

That's how it is on a DVD. VOBs and IFOs. Did you try using it in a regular DVD player ? If it doesn't work, the problem lies somewhere else.

MPG will not work in a DVD player (there are exceptions, but that would not be DVD Video format). That's for computers.

Using Nero I think the only way to put a MPG on a dvd is to make a data dvd and just add it on there

It should play on your computer and on your DVD Player, but some dont

but yea.. use the "make a data dvd" option
