partial christmas quest and full event info

I just completed the christmas event and quest so im posting what information I have. I admit this isnt very complete info but i forgot to take good notes while doing this so I only have basic info

 

 

 

event--

 

started by talking to a head imp located at a few stated locations around runescape, you are given a necklace that summons a snow imp. You are tasked with finding jack frost who has escaped from the land of snow. The imp will tell you how hot or cold you are, the colder you get the closer to jack frost. I found him in the cow field east of lumbridge, after finding him talk to your imp to teleport to the land of snow. Walk up to jack and you will see a cutscene which will end the event.

 

 

 

reward--santa suit, a top bottom gloves and boots santa themed (no there is not a hat)

 

 

 

 

 

quest info--

 

talk to explorer jack who will tell you about magic stones hidden in the land of snow, and say that you can talk to a head snow imp or specific wizard(idk name) in the wizard tower to teleport there. The quest consists of a few simple s.lide through the room puzzles followed by a trickier two step puzzle(note, unlike many slide puzzles ive done you may move diagonally in these). If you go into the last room before finishing the puzzle a yedi will howl and you will be thrown out of the room, during this scene you will see a horn clearly connnected to the path of the previous room.

 

 

 

Pushing the two stones into place and completing the path will allow you acess to the horn, after reading instructions written on the wall you can blow the horn which will stun the yedi. return to the yedis room and grab the stones. upon leaving the cave(you cant tele) some snow imps confront you about how the stones are actually yeti dung that they were using to prank explorer jack. After changing the spell on the yeti dung the imps allow you to leave.

 

 

 

Talk to jack and you will be given the choice to tell him the truth or continue the prank. I choose to tell the truth (decision seems to end quest). Reward I received was a 500exp lamp and 1Qp.

 

 

 

After quest note--there are 3 markings in walls on different rooms of the caverns, basic equipmentchisel, hammer, axe more possible are needed to access along with more puzzle navigating

 

the first markings gave me 2k crafting exp when viewed

 

the second markings gave 10k agility exp when viewed

 

when i read the third markings it said it required 80 woodcutting to view so I am unaware of the reward. If there are reqs for the first two markings due to my stats i can say they are below 57 agil and 64 crafting respectably

Thanks for posting. Unfortunately, we probably missed your topic entirely, lol. We search the General Discussion thread (was viewtopic.php?f=30&t=774738 this time) and the Player Made Guides forum viewforum.php?f=113 for info about the quest on release day.

 

 

 

If you have items or monsters info, do always post here, but for the quest itself, usually the above two locations are your best bet.
