Started this quest, and I am a little stuck. The guide isn't clear what i am supposed to do to find the dead slayer master? I havnt done the sccabras (sp?) quest yet, so I havnt set up the agility thing. What are you supposed to do at that shortcut thing?

If you go as far down as possible, you can get onto the cliff. Once there, past the mummy's/skeletons (?) You'll need to place the rope on the over-hanging piece of cliff.

 

 

 

It's a while since I did the quest, but I advise you try two or three different guides. :)

Ohh...so if you run down you can just run up the cliff, duh. I should have tried that.

 

Are the mummies aggressive? Should I just pray melee and run like heck?

Your stats are high enough to withstand a few seconds running. You might not need to pray. But yeah, you don't actually have to put the rope there - it's more just to save time if you ever go back.
