Hill Giants for Range training

So I've been working on Hunter near the ZMI alter, and noticed a big pack of hill giants at the bottom of the hill. So it got me to wondering if that would be a good spot to power train ranging. How do hill giants compare to ogres or yaks in terms of range def? Assuming, that the top of the hill is within range of rapid, would hills be a decent (at least 40k plus exp per hour) range monster?

I'll say no just because of their HP, clicking a new monster every 15 seconds..
