I was wondering if farming snapdragons is a good way to make money in between slayer tasks

 

i heard 1mil every 2hrs but i really doubt it does anyone know th eleast amount and max amount you can make growing them in all 5 spots??

 

 

 

i would most likely by most of the seeds and get some from tasks

Here's what I do, I buy 20 seeds, use them on 4 runs, sell the herbs, then buy another 20 seeds. Each time, I usually make 300-400k. That's about 80k per run, which takes 8 minutes.

 

 

 

Continue at that rate, and snaps are 960k per hour of time.

Let's see, using the price of Snapdragons @ Max:

 

 

 

33,600gp * 5 = 168,000gp (To buy for one trip)

 

 

 

Lets say these yield you around 6 (use the Amulet of Nature & Magic Secateurs) And you sell them @ Max:

 

 

 

7,742gp * 6 = 46,452gp

 

46,452gp * 5 = 232,260gp

 

 

 

Total profit for a 5 spot trip with everything going OK, and no dead herbs:

 

 

 

232,260gp - 168,000gp = 64,260gp

 

 

 

Something tells me I messed up the calculations but I tried :P

they take like 79-80mins ea to grow so 80k everytime u go and pick them?

Yes, 80k every time you pick all 5 patches, assuming no deaths and an average harvest rate.

Average is 7 herbs. If you factor in the death rate, the average is 6.8 herbs.

Remember, ALWAYS use supercompost. :D
