Why not, when we buy or get the kitten from Gertrude, right after the kitten is yours, he will ask you for the kitten name

pressing the first one will give you a text area with a 10 limit letters, and the name you choose will appear on the kitten so it's will not be "shoo away kitten" it will be like "shoo away meow", and of course it goes without saying that the word filter will be active

I mean if you get a randomly generated nickname whenever you complete Fremmy trials, it could definately be the same for when you buy a new kitten. And like you said, naming it yourself would be nice. But in case people abused it, cats could be given names ala the fremmy way (Not after a trial, randomly generated I mean ;))

I think this idea is fine, I'd vote for it. It's surely a better idea than a lot of the unnecessary things I read on these forums :) Plus, it would stop those annoying people from telling me their cat's name at Catherby. "My cat is namer tiger/pooky/ralph." Now, it's there, so I don't have to bother checking it.

not really, alot of people like the name "tiger", and there is some use of the examine, "it says Tiger on the collar, and it belongs to XXX" or somthing like that

oh and when the catspeak is on, or when the cat speaks to bob, he can say "Hi bob, i'm tiger" and of course "Tiger, i am your father"

Actually your right, it's only the chatbox that is send, well, when reported, send the name of the cat owner, and i guess that in his info will be the cats name

Yeah sounds like a good idea...but when I was member for 1 month I only got the kitten so I could try and get it from a kitten to a cat so I could sell it for 100 death runes to some rs char (well thats what I read in the quest guide) 8)

Yeah, if you have done biohazard(somthing like that) you can sell your cat for 100 death runes, it does not matter if the cat is overgrown or not
