I don't know if the story can progress if you don't do this. (No screenie) Step 18 says that Kimberly will mention the train being at the base of a building. But for me, she instead told me it was near the water. If you destroy the Toy Train after you picked it up, it will NOT reappear in the same spot you found it. You'll have to search the town to find it again. Under Tips, Tricks & Notes, it says that Kennith's parents will give you 2 noted Coal for fetching them random items. Kennith's Parents Kent and Caroline can be found in the village of Witchaven itself. They are upstairs inside one of two buildings which have ladders in the buildings.
