  1. http://www.tip.it/ru...stares-back-the Grammar, punctuation, typos Step 1: "falador" should be capitalized. Step 4, 6, 7: "Captian" should be "Captain". Step 7: "creates" should be "crates". Step 16: "Grayzags" is missing an apostrophe. Corrections, updates, typos Before Step 1 and before Step 6, Items Suggested: Additional armour is not needed, since you are unable to venture through the dungeon without wearing the three pieces of Black Armour (bugged), but you may equip any additional items of your choice (however I would strongly recommend a shield for fighting the pest ambush, see below). http://i.imgur.com/Sonel.jpg http://i.imgur.com/McK0f.jpg http://i.imgur.com/aYX4a.png Step 5: When correcting the weights, the order to be selected using the chatbox options is: 4 2 6 3 5. http://imgur.com/a/w1ePx Step 6: Unless you are using Ranged/Magic to kill the Spinner first, kill the Shifter first, otherwise it will keep teleporting away the Spinner, leaving you stuck behind the Brawler. Use the Shield ability "Reflect" as much as you can, especially against the Brawler which attacks with rapid melee. http://i.imgur.com/L0hY8.png Under Step 7, and under all Items Required: The toolbelt hammer and tinderbox works. http://i.imgur.com/M3YEJ.jpg http://i.imgur.com/cPxcf.jpg Rewards: The only combat skill you cannot use the Books of Equilibrium on is Constitution. http://i.imgur.com/QRiUD.jpg http://i.imgur.com/HdGdC.jpg BOSS BATTLE Items Suggested: Remove "Recover Special potions" since it no longer exists. You can only use Korasi's Sword to attack the queen, any other weapon will not work, so "weapon" should be removed. Shield is strongly recommended, since you're stuck with a 1H weapon anyways. Step 16: I tried trapping the Defilers behind some boxes on the upper level, but they became unaggressive and started wandering around, until they started attacking the Void Rangers again, which is why I recommend NOT trapping them (not sure if trapping behind Queen still works). Instead of using Korasi's Sword special (which no longer exists), simply use the Attack ability "Backhand", which cancels the queen's charging phase and deals damage (if you're unable to stun an opponent, stun abilities will deal damage instead). Reserve Backhand for this part only, it has a long cooldown. http://i.imgur.com/nsHcM.png Reflect doesn't work on the Queen, but Resonance, Sever and Dismember do. http://i.imgur.com/EUutn.png http://i.imgur.com/ppyRp.png http://i.imgur.com/Efv99.png Bestiary updates http://imgur.com/a/dbq2v

  3. http://www.tip.it/ru...-nomads-requiem Grammar, punctuation, typos Additional requirements: "Completed at least one game of Soul Wars", the "completed" could be un-capitalized. Corrections, updates, misc For the Bank box before Step 1, and under Items Required at the top of the guide, the toolbelt pickaxe works. http://i.imgur.com/3F9i7.jpg Between Steps 1 and 2, when you first enter Nomad's tent, a cutscene occurs, and after the cutscene, you have to speak to Nomad first in order to progress through the temple. I don't know whether it's mandatory to speak to Zimberfizz after speaking to Nomad, in order to progress through the temple. http://imgur.com/a/ixFTb For the Bank box before Step 12, and under Items Required at the top of the guide, although I cannot fully confirm, I do not believe Fire Wave runes are needed, since I managed to detonate the explosives without using up the runes in my inventory (or maybe I do need them, and my character cast Fire Wave without consuming runes). http://i.imgur.com/Rc5RN.jpg Under Step 12, the knight isn't the one who hints that you should use Piety. When you Search the knight after he collapses, your character will examine a hint on the floor. http://i.imgur.com/P3cz1.png Under Step 17, the Decaying Avatar can be safe-spotted with a halberd. Abilities, crit damage, and bleeding work on this monster. If you safe-spot it, note that you don't need to use prayer and/or prayer-boosting armour, so you can make the battle go faster by equipping attack-boosting items instead. http://i.imgur.com/qlCpU.jpg http://i.imgur.com/nvsUH.png http://i.imgur.com/vlFcV.jpg BOSS BATTLE: Royal Dragonhide requirements have been reduced in the EoC; you no longer need 80 Ranged to wear it, only 65 Defence, so it's more viable than using Black Dragonhide. Zamorakian spear is not needed anymore. "Diamond bolts(e)" and "Ruby Bolts(e)" need a space between the (e) and the name, both in the Bank box and Items Suggested at the top of the guide. Super Restores and Sara Brews are not needed anymore, regular food heals more the higher your Constitution level is. A shield can also be used if you use a Crossbow, for access to the Rejuvenate ability (Resonance and Reflect do not work on Nomad's first stage). Ranged is still advised for this battle. Nomad's long-ranged attacks are type-less, so Protection prayers will not work on his first stage. http://i.imgur.com/tTkao.jpg http://i.imgur.com/H1xKO.jpg Nomad's third special attack will inflict half damage equal to half of your max LP (rounded down) instead of your LP - 1. http://i.imgur.com/IECG2.png (full health) http://i.imgur.com/kq3bK.png Resonance works when Nomad attacks you with rapid melee, but not Reflect. Protect From Melee will work at this time. Bleeding abilities work on Nomad. http://i.imgur.com/IyuG8.jpg http://i.imgur.com/jy49L.jpg http://i.imgur.com/v4yG1.jpg Bestiary updates See below post (having an Imgur account makes uploading images so much easier now...)
  4. http://www.tip.it/ru...kwork-syringe-a Grammar, punctuation, typos Section A last paragraph: Missing a period at the end. Section B Step 5: "Port Phastmatys" should be spelt "Port Phasmatys" Section B last paragraph: "Twiblik" should be spelt "Twiblick". Section F Step 21: "Keep using the bundle o'kegs on the the conveyor belts" has an extra "the". Corrections, updates, misc Section C Step 10: The toolbelt hammer and tinderbox works. http://i.imgur.com/ydgiW.jpg http://i.imgur.com/elywt.jpg Section E Step 13: The supplies are located in an alcove directly opposite of the entrance to the building. http://i.imgur.com/cEHM4.jpg Section E Step 13: Although I cannot confirm if you're able to avoid damage, the guide should note that you'll take damage when you detonate the barrels. http://i.imgur.com/9jKNx.jpg Bestiary upates The Barrelchest Mk II, 'Rum'-pumped crabs and General malpractitioners were not aggressive towards me (Combat Level 163). http://imgur.com/a/WRnP6
  5. http://www.tip.it/ru.../221-love-story Grammar, punctuation, typos At the very top under Monsters, and under Step 3 Paragraph 2, it lists a monster "Pit Scarabite", but the monster's actual name is "Pit Scabarite" (see very bottom of the post for a list of monster screenshots). Step 2 Paragraph 3: The word "reaccess" should have a hyphen, to become "re-access". Step 4 Paragraph 3: "immediatly" should be spelt "immediately". Tips, Tricks & Notes, last bullet point: "Keladgrim" should be spelt "Keldagrim". Corrections, updates, misc The toolbelt chisel and hammer works for this quest. http://i.imgur.com/7NPjp.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Yqsw0.jpg Under Step 4 for the final battle, instead of using the Zamorakian Spear special to shove her off the plinth, you can use the Strength Ability "Kick", which does the same thing (however she cannot be stunned). http://i.imgur.com/S1d4p.jpg http://i.imgur.com/H3ftV.jpg Under Rewards, it says "Cutting the tree next to Draynor bank with the banker in it". It's not a banker, it's a bank guard. http://i.imgur.com/0Uugn.jpg Bestiary corrections Please note that, except for Zenevivia, all of the Max Life Points for each monster cannot be confirmed, since the Wise Old Man automatically attacked and damaged them (I believe the Pit Ogre LP is 2500). http://imgur.com/a/rBznR http://imgur.com/a/PpBwJ
  6. This sounds like it could be a bug, in which case it should be posted on the RS Forums so that J-Mods can see it.
  7. http://www.tip.it/ru...akers-curse-the Grammar, punctuation, typos Step 2, "The firemakers think that to proceed the fire pattern must be completed": It needs punctuation but it can be changed to 'The firemakers think that the fire pattern must be completed in order to proceed' instead. Step 5: Windy sentence in here, should become "As you progress through the cavern, every time you reach a campsite, as part of her game you must chose who you believe is possessed and tie them up before another party member is killed". Corrections, updates, misc During the boss battle, thanks to the new abilities and ability bar, it's actually possible to defeat Char without food. After running out of Swordfish, I decided not to rebank and play around and see what Char's limitations were. 1) Every fire you light will allow you to deal 301 damage against Char. With 1 fire lit, you'll hit 301 damage no matter what type of damage you do, including ability damage and critical hits (I kept missing with my bleed-type attacks so I never got to test if bleeding works). http://i.imgur.com/MswRh.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Ff9wA.png http://i.imgur.com/0OhgB.jpg http://i.imgur.com/uqWma.png 2) The Shield ability "Resonance" (the one that heals what the opponent would have hit you for) works on Char, INCLUDING while she is in her juggernaut state. However, if Char would hit you for more damage than the current LP you have left, you WILL NOT absorb it and will be knocked out. http://i.imgur.com/KRfqm.png http://i.imgur.com/8rFrm.png 3) The Shield ability "Reflect" (50% of all damage done to you is reflected back) does not work. http://i.imgur.com/MAtIt.jpg 4) You can spam-create fires by placing the pitch-can on your ability bar. Just run around the room spamming the hotkey. 5) I found the crossbow to be more effective than darts due to its longer range, since I was using a shield as well. Dual-wielding darts is only effective when you are stationary and give your character enough time to get into the momentum of double attacking. What I would do is attack once with the regular auto-attack, then immediately use Piercing Shot (the first basic ability for Ranged with a 3s cooldown). Run away, and repeat. If she went into invulnerable mode, I would run around the room spam-creating more fires until it wore off, then continued my attacks. Using Resonance to heal and spam-creating fires ending up with over 10 fires at any one time, I ended up eating only 3 Sharks in my final run against Char. 6) Char's level was 160 for me in the final boss battle. Did not check if she's immune to binds/stuns. Did not try to use melee or magic. Did not use prayer or pots. Used ranged armour for the LP boost, I was pretty much full run energy due to Oo'glog bath. She commonly hit 1k+ on me in regular mode, and 2k+ while in juggernaut mode, even though my max LP was 7.5k
  8. http://www.tip.it/ru...-of-the-dwarves Grammar, punctuation, typos Section 1, Step 3, "Some of the bigger rocks can not be cleared": 'can not' should be changed to 'cannot'. Section 3, Step 15, "there also appears to have gathered a crowd around someone making a speech": should be changed to 'it also appears that a crowd has gathered around someone making a speech". http://i.imgur.com/m4mw2.png Section 3, Step 16, "Veldaban suggest to go find Meike": "suggest to go find" should be changed to 'suggests finding'. Section 4, Step 21, "Go the the library and talk to Meike": 'Go the the library' should be changed to 'Go to the library'. Section 5, Step 35, "Ask him if he’s be kind enough": 'he's' should be changed to 'he'd'. Corrections, updates, misc You do not need to wield a pickaxe to start the quest (I did not check if you need one in your inventory though). The toolbelt pickaxe can be used for mining away the rocks. http://i.imgur.com/jp4lH.png http://i.imgur.com/mZoGL.png http://i.imgur.com/khZMs.png http://i.imgur.com/6o730.png http://i.imgur.com/Eayvj.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Yhv7o.jpg The order of the options when talking to the Consortium directors is different than written in the guide (swap Steps 10 and 11) (minor). http://i.imgur.com/TcF0s.png Under Step 20, it wouldn't hurt to mention that the "tower" is the same one where you fought the Chaos Dwarf Cannoneer. http://i.imgur.com/poqkJ.jpg
  9. Did you use Microsoft Paint? If you did, after pasting your image from the clipboard make sure to shrink the borders of the canvas so that it matches the size of your image, OR shrink the canvas borders to a very tiny size, then paste your image and the borders will automatically adjust to become the exact size of your image. What looks like happened is that you pasted your image but didn't shrink your canvas borders down, causing extra unused canvas space to be saved into the image. Tip: When taking a screenshot using the Print Screen key, hold down the Alt button while pressing it and it will only capture the active window as your image. That way, you don't end up with the taskbar in your pasted image (you could always crop it out manually though).
  10. http://open.tip.it/q...pe-for-disaster I understand that due to the EoC, aspects of the quest guide will change. I will do my best to omit entries that would be directly tied to the new (combat) aspects brought about by the EoC. Grammar, punctuation, typos Under Pirate Pete subquest - Getting the Recipe - third paragraph, the word "summmoning" has three M's in it. Under Skrach subquest - Getting the Jubbly Bird - first paragraph, it says "small tree that has an arrow sticking out of it.Make a fire". Needs a space in-between the two sentences. Under Evil Dave subquest - Getting the Evil Taste - Step 4, it says "You should try the spices one by one for example stew with". The sentence could use some commas/colons/semi-colons to make the sentence easier to read and understand. Under Evil Dave subquest - Getting the Evil Taste - NOTE #2, there should be a space between the "Note:Clicking". Also, does QuestHelp still work after the Noticeboard update? I couldn't seem to figure out how to access it and had to figure out the correct combos manually. Under Sir Amik Varze subquest - Getting the Ingredients - second paragraph, the phrase "Protect from Magic" should have capitalizations. Under the Final Fight subquest - Miniboss #5 Gelatinnoth Mother, it says "Horror From the Deep quest". The "From" should be un-capitalized (as should the words "From The" in the quest list http://open.tip.it/quests and in the quest guide itself http://open.tip.it/q...r-from-the-deep) (come to think of it, you'll probably have to check everywhere and un-capitalize those words...) http://i.imgur.com/DoKH0.png Under the Final Fight subquest - Miniboss #6 Culinaromancer, it says "he will still inlfict up to 250 damage". The word "inflict" is misspelled. Corrections, additional info, miscellaneous The various subquests listed are not listed in the same order that is listed in-game. Although this isn't a major issue, the current order is: http://i.imgur.com/GJUhP.jpg http://i.imgur.com/5Br8U.jpg http://i.imgur.com/yc7nY.jpg Under Dwarf subquest - Getting the Recipe - Step 1, bowls don't spawn in the cellar, but they spawn on the table upstairs in the kitchen. http://i.imgur.com/P8nlX.jpg http://i.imgur.com/s1RPX.jpg Further on from above in #3, you don't know that the name of "Old Dwarf" is "Rohak" until you've spoken to him about the quest, and after that, his in-game name will change from "Old Dwarf" to "Rohak" (it took me a while to find him since I was looking for an NPC named Rohak, not Old Dwarf). http://i.imgur.com/mpMb6.jpg Under Pirate Pete subquest - Diving - Step 5, I didn't need to pick up rocks to enter the crab pen. http://i.imgur.com/HoC66.jpg Under Skrach subquest, a toolbelt hatchet will NOT work for this part. You must have an inventory hatchet so you can 'use' it on the fallen tree. http://i.imgur.com/lVIOP.jpg http://i.imgur.com/pcImB.jpg http://i.imgur.com/girat.jpg Under Sir Amik Varze subquest required items, it should say "dramen/lunar staff unless you've completed Fairy Tale III quest". The toolbelt hatchet, machete, and pestle and mortar will all work for this subquest. http://i.imgur.com/XG7cs.jpg http://i.imgur.com/OFLCd.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Ul7mY.jpg Under Sir Amik Varze subquest, "Anti-Dragon Shield" could be changed to simply "protection from dragonfire". Also the subquest calls the shield an "anti-dragonbreath shield" twice, which was its old name. http://i.imgur.com/hyTCO.jpg Under SAV subquest - Getting the Ingredients - second paragraph, the "statue" is actually a "Chicken Shrine", and it's not located beside a ladder anymore, it's beside a Fairy Ring. http://i.imgur.com/q1hRz.jpg Under SAV subquest - Finishing the Creme Brulee - first paragraph, it's advised to move the cinnamon part into the previous section "Getting the Ingredients" so you don't have to backtrack to Zanaris. You are allowed to bring the Dramen branches into the Evil Chicken's Lair. In addition, you don't have to kill the zombies to obtain a hatchet, the toolbelt hatchet will work. http://i.imgur.com/bfpWQ.jpg Under SAV subquest - Finishing the Creme Brulee - first paragraph, you cannot rub the Dragon Token anywhere except in Lumbridge or Zanaris. http://i.imgur.com/TCIrD.jpg Under Awowogei subquest - Getting the Right Ingredients - last pagaraph, the described location of the "exit" is a bit confusing. It's on a lower level slightly west of the dungeon entrance, and there are two staircases instead of just one. http://i.imgur.com/dx9gL.jpg
  11. http://open.tip.it/q...f-the-mahjarrat Grammar, punctuation, typos Under Step 4, it says "She will ask you to try clarify what Robert means in his message". A bit of bad grammar, "to try clarify" should be changed to "to try and clarify" or "to try clarifying". Under Step 8 for "Items Suggested", "varrock" should be capitalized. Under Step 8, it says "He will give you four beacons to be placed at the ritual site which should help amplify his power, however". "power" could be changed to "powers" or a semi-colon can replace the comma. Under Step 9, above the picture with a pine tree in it (whose location I find to be slightly misleading due to current graphics in the game), it says "use a beacon on the large deadtree there". There should be a space between "dead" and "tree". Under Step 10 second paragraph, it says "After completing the puzzle successfuly, the door will unlock". "succesfuly" should have another L in it. Under Step 12 second paragraph, it says "After revealing that Ali the Wise is infact Wahisietel". There should be a space between "in" and "fact". Also, there could be a "called" before "Wahisietel", or change the sentence to "Ali the Wise is actually a Mahjarrat called Wahisietel". Under Step 13 with the battle with the Icefiends, it says "Breaking one stalagmites usually only takes one hit". It should say "one set of stalagmites" or "one" should be removed. Corrections, additional info, miscellaneous Under Step 1, it says "to investigate an attack on the island". I find it slightly misleading, as if an attack had already taken place. It should be changed to "to investigate a plot to attack the island" or something similar. Under Step 3 for "Required", protection against dragonfire is highly recommended, to reduce the amount of damage taken from fireballs (which will need to be listed at the top of the guide too). In my case, I used a Dragonfire Shield. Under Steps 5 to 7 when you go to Kethsi, I recommend taking agility gear such as weight reduction and food. There is no combat in Kethsi, so there is no need to be equipped in combat gear, but there's a lot of running. Kethsi is full of agility obstacles which you could possibly fail (I failed some at 79 Agility), so food and a Regen Brace are useful (moderate-healing food is fine, no need to load up on expensive food). For Step 6, it says "search the pile of rubble nearby to find a tetrahedron 4". It's not nearby, it's actually quite a ways away from the fairy ring (I couldn't see the fairy ring icon on the minimap when standing beside the rubble). Instead it should say "head into the ruins and go north-west, then search the pile of rubble near the water to find a tetrahedron 4". http://i.imgur.com/eAe4Y.jpg Further on in Step 6 underneath the picture, it says "Now climb up the ramp and use Bob's collar on the wall design to open a puzzle". The ramp is located to the east of the pile or rubble, within clicking distance but not easy to spot. The wall design is north of the ramp once you go up it. The two notes and necklace you receive are not needed for this quest, so they can be destroyed and retrieved for future quests. http://i.imgur.com/CQWaq.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Qqpzw.jpg Further on in Step 6, when you walk across the spire-bridge and down the ladder, the guide says "Now run up the wall jump behind you and climb the next wall". When you first go down the ladder, the "wall jump" is actually located to your right (east). http://i.imgur.com/S2Qv5.jpg Further on in Step 6, it says "Instead, jump down from the floor immediately to the south of that ladder. Once on the lower floor, climb down both ladders until you reach the ground". You actually jump across a gap to another floor at the same height as the floor you're on, so it should be changed to "Instead, jump across the gap to the south of the ladder, then climb down both ladders until you reach the ground". http://i.imgur.com/0v9Ok.jpg http://i.imgur.com/eCEJj.jpg http://i.imgur.com/pGqQj.jpg Under Step 7 first paragraph, the toolbelt pickaxe will work, and if you pull the pickaxe from the rock, it will not respawn should you drop it. http://i.imgur.com/JwfCa.jpg Further on in the first paragraph, it says "From here, run west across the first and second walls then climb west across some handholds", which is slightly confusing. There's an agility obstacle called "Run-across wall". It should be changed to something like "From here run west, cross the wall-obstacles, then climb west across some handholds". http://i.imgur.com/Imysk.jpg Under Step 7 third paragraph, it says "Instead, slide down the roof to the west and south". It makes it sound like you have to slide down two roofs instead of one. It should be reworded to something like "Instead, head west then south, then slide down the roof". http://i.imgur.com/UdZap.jpg Under Step 7, the code given from the Tetrahedron puzzle is written in your Quest Journal. In addition, in the paragraph that says "If you don't already have a spade, pick up the one lying on the ground", that sentence should be moved to the start of the paragraph so as to not make the reader think that the spade is located outside instead of inside. http://i.imgur.com/fLsGN.jpg http://i.imgur.com/7tSiO.jpg Under Step 7, when you're trying to locate the spot where to dig, if you need to backtrack all the way to the first part of Kethsi near the fairy ring, there's a rope swing located on the southern end of the part 2 of Kethsi, west of the pipe squeeze. It will take you back to the wall-jump obstacle near the spire-bridge. http://i.imgur.com/W66sa.jpg Under Step 7 second-last paragraph, you need to search the bookcases in the south-eastern corner and along the south wall. Also, when you find the journal, make sure to keep it, you'll need to show it to Tiffy in order to advance the quest (I think). http://i.imgur.com/Ank78.jpg http://i.imgur.com/gS5ZY.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Nfxz7.jpg Under Step 9, before heading to the ritual site, I advise locating the Heat Globe in Ghorrock Fortress first, to avoid backtracking later. I was able to find the globe before talking to Movario and locating the Shadow Pedestal. In addition, the heat globe does NOT appear on the minimap. http://i.imgur.com/a75Bx.jpg Under Step 9, before placing the final beacon, it's not required to speak to Movario right now, since you will be unable to place the Heat Globe on the Shadow Pedestal until you speak to Movario after ALL tasks are completed. http://i.imgur.com/z9L4G.jpg http://i.imgur.com/pMHEw.jpg Under Step 10 first paragraph, it says "At the south-west corner of the ritual site is a track to Zemourgal's Fortress". There are several paths you can take to reach the fortress, and none of the paths are marked (at least not in low detail graphic settings). But there is a guaranteed path through the trees at the southwestern corner of the ritual site. http://i.imgur.com/BE70z.jpg http://i.imgur.com/8goIO.jpg http://i.imgur.com/inZAB.jpg Under Step 12 onwards, if you need to bank: During a cutscene before a battle, just click outside the chat box and the cutscene will be interrupted and you will find yourself outside the rope shortcut you created. When you use the rope shortcut to access the ritual plateau, you will go through the exact same cutscene from the beginning. If you teleport away, log out, die, etc during a battle, you will have to endure the entire cutscene before that battle again, just like above. So to save time, it's advised to interrupt cutscenes to bank, rather than interrupt battles to bank. Under Step 13 onwards, Lucien's smoking-skull attack will not damage anyone except you. No one EXCEPT you. Effort should not be taken to try and lure Lucien's attack to hit an enemy. It is also not necessary to fight any enemies other than the ones that seek you out; each section of the battle will end once you defeat your assigned enemies. Also during some fights, the Barrow brothers MAY assist you in fighting your assigned enemies, but only if they're not fighting one of their own. It is still not advised to defeat the enemies that the Barrows are fighting so that they'll help you, since it's not guaranteed that they WILL help you (not entirely confirmed).
  12. http://open.tip.it/q...f-glouphrie-the Under Step 4, the dead tree is located north-north-west of the Observatory, instead of due north. http://i.imgur.com/or0NJ.jpg Under Step 9, the 'sturdy tree' is the very western-most tree at the end of the path, and is a deep brown color. http://i.imgur.com/EinMn.jpg Under Step 18, it says "Go up the stairs to the north.Go east and carefully rotate". Needs a space in-between the two sentences.
  13. http://open.tip.it/q...e-guthix-sleeps Under Step 2, due to the graphics update to Taverly, the Witch's house is now south of Taverly, and Ivy's house is now located to the west of the Summoning shop (the crystal chest is also here). http://i.imgur.com/NpVsD.jpg http://i.imgur.com/TWLeI.jpg Under Step 6, it says "Reldo suggests to talk to a jungle hunting expert". A bit of bad grammar here, it should be changed from "to talk" to "talking". Under Step 11, talking to a Khazard Guard that has no combat level will not advance the quest. You must talk to one that has a combat level. http://i.imgur.com/WJarY.jpg http://i.imgur.com/ih7Sy.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Uqtwt.jpg Under Step 13, instead of using the Broav right after obtaining Movario's laundry, it's possible to travel to the Khazard Battlefield, then set the Broav down and use the shirt on it. It will save time (exactly how far you're allowed to travel I don't know; since the guide did not state where the hideout was specifically, I had to set the Broav down a bit far from the hideout location). The hideout is located in the north-western area of the Battlefield, across the river. Under Step 24, it says "seek Idria who is in the arms of a forester". Step 25 should state the name of the tavern, "Forester's Arms", so as to help people understand the clue. Under Step 31, it says to "use the lens on the seed", but to actually 'use' it on the seed will do nothing, you must 'use' it on the counter you placed the seed on. http://i.imgur.com/Ah8to.jpg Under Step 39, "Wear them and they will no longer attack." should be moved to the end of the sentence; the little note made about prayer is quite relevant before you even obtain the outfit. Under Step 46, you must activate the strange teleorb while standing in the center of the room (on top of the symbol engraved in the floor), otherwise nothing will happen. http://i.imgur.com/cxEVE.jpg http://i.imgur.com/8QsNC.jpg Under Step 47, it says "jump back across to Lucien's lair" which sounds a little confusing, as if you're required to return to the hideout, but you can teleport out while standing on top of the snow wall. http://i.imgur.com/ywTIR.jpg For the section "Cave Exploring" (before Step 49), the Ouroborous pouch will work in place of Druid Pouches, so you won't need to keep the sickle and pouches obtained in Step 50. http://i.imgur.com/nclNE.jpg http://i.imgur.com/AsxU1.jpg Under Step 49, it could mention to use the Lumbridge Castle cellar shortcut into the Lumbridge Caves to reach the Tears of Guthix area, plus you won't get attacked by Wall Beasts. Also under Step 49, the information stated is slightly inaccurate: you already know that a sapphire lantern attracts the light creatures (from your previous quests). You must also 'use' the sapphire lantern on a nearby light creature, and it will give you an option to descend into the chasm. http://imgur.com/a/uHb3I http://i.imgur.com/E59BX.jpg Under Step 50, the toolbelt Chisel, Spade and Hammer will work. http://imgur.com/a/7qkzj Under Step 54, I would kinda describe it as shuffle-crawling. For a moment, I didn't understand what the guide meant by "shuffling". http://i.imgur.com/0OMPY.jpg For Step 56, if a statue depicts a potion that requires another potion as an ingredient (such as Guthix Balance), place the herb and secondary needed for that potion (Harralander and Red Spiders' Eggs), then place the secondary ingredients needed for the main potion (Garlic and Silver Dust). It wouldn't hurt to mention NOT to create an actual potion out of the ingredients obtained from the druids. http://i.imgur.com/8faaw.jpg Under Step 58's final bullet point, it says "It has surprisingly low defence and life points for it's level". The "it's" should be changed to "its".
  14. http://open.tip.it/q...f-darkmeyer-the Under Step 4, it says {but they let you go as they think you are "the one," foreshadowing ominous things to come}. I find this confusing, since the concept of "The One" is usually applied to someone who will do great things (The Matrix, etc...), but the context of the in-game conversation makes it sound more like "this is the one we must not touch." The sentence should be changed to something like {but they let you go so that you can be saved for "her"}. http://i.imgur.com/642Ks.jpg http://i.imgur.com/NjE1N.jpg http://i.imgur.com/in4HF.jpg http://i.imgur.com/y3Jdl.jpg Under Step 5, it says the cutscene will start when you stand on the lookout point, when there's an action specifically named "Stand lookout point" for a specific spot. http://i.imgur.com/xRPRL.jpg Under Step 6, the smoke bombs are in the crates in the southwestern room of the hideout. http://i.imgur.com/WqYzr.jpg Under Step 7, the grate is located directly beside the furnace you had to repair from the "Legacy of Seergaze" quest. http://i.imgur.com/x13q5.jpg http://i.imgur.com/JMnD2.jpg Under Step 8, I found it difficult to move directly from Building 1 to Building 2 in a single run. It was much easier to run into the building directly north of Building 1, use another smoke bomb, then finish running to Building 2. Also under Step 8, after obtaining and repairing the forth clothing piece, it should say to equip all four pieces, and to wear it at all times for the remainder of the quest, except during the boss battle. Under Step 9, which lists four NPCs you can speak to for tasks, you should talk to Grigan Kaninus first; after speaking to him and receiving the task, you will be able to pick up any Bloodveld Younglings that you come across. Since all 6 Younglings are not visible at all times, the sooner you start this task the better (I gave up after 20 minutes of searching for the 6th one). In addition, the Younglings will appear on the minimap as yellow NPC dots, which makes things easier. http://i.imgur.com/q8ijF.jpg Under Step 9, if you plan on being a good guy, you have the option of discreetly freeing the prisoner under Task 3 later during the quest. But if you're unable to scrounge up the necessary points from the other 3 tasks, you will be forced to perform this task. As such, it should be left for last, and should also mention the fact that if you taunt her too much you will be unable to free her. Under Step 10 Task 1, if you plan on being a good guy, you should take responsibility for breaking the tithe sample, and you'll still receive points (I think)... Under Step 10 Task 2, talk to every Sentinel in the upper Tier, rather than just one. Under Step 10 Task 3, if you choose to collect the debt, you must "Use" the Wolfbane Dagger on the Canifis Settler; equipping it or having it in your inventory won't do anything. http://i.imgur.com/yDdPY.jpg Step 13 should mention to cut at least 3 logs, so that you can demonstrate weapons from all 3 corners of the combat triangle to the Myreque. Under Step 14, if you want to make multiple Blisterwood Polearms, drop the Sickles and ask Vertida for more. http://i.imgur.com/Rr7lF.jpg Under Step 16, I used Blisterwood Stakes for the entire fight, though magic may be viable. Since you'll be running around a lot, the ability to attack from a distance is highly recommended. If you die, your gravestone will appear outside the door to Vanstrom's house, and you will keep your Darkmeyer outfit upon death (I died about 4 times). Vanstrom's attacks should also be a little more detailed: If you get frozen, try to click and run until you break the ice (unconfirmed, I don't remember this part). If he's about to use his darkness attack, he'll shout "Stare into the darkness!". Move to the edge of the room, make your character look away from Vanstrom, and turn your camera so you're looking in the same direction that your character is. Vanstrom will throw blood bombs AND create blood pools underneath you. Both should be avoided. While in mist form, throwing holy water will create a pool of water on the floor. If Vanstrom flies over it, he will take damage. Avoid the cloud of mist and lure him over the pool of water over and over. After the quest, a Bloodwood tree will appear outside the Arboretum.
  15. http://open.tip.it/q...191-rocking-out The toolbelt hammer needed for "The First Mark: Step 5" will work. http://i.imgur.com/zPquZ.jpg Under Step 6, in the guide it says that you'll need to obtain a captain's mark from Frank, the bosun of One-Eyed Hector; but this fact is not known until later in the quest, so Ralph specifies One-Eyed Hector in-game instead of Frank. http://i.imgur.com/iz2Oy.jpg Under Step 7, it says to leave the prison island by diving off the pier. You're able to teleport out though. http://i.imgur.com/CLjS0.jpg Under "The First Mark: Step 4", Mufassah and Brass Hand Harry are both located on the top floor of the NORTHERN bar, although the two bars are joined together on the top floors, but are separate on the ground floors. http://i.imgur.com/dFuai.jpg http://i.imgur.com/pMoFU.jpg Under "The Forth Mark: Step 1", Captain Donnie is wandering around the farming patches to the south of the Brewery. He's a little difficult to locate amongst the other wandering zombies, and it took me a good few minutes to actually locate him (I was running all over the island). http://i.imgur.com/rXjl9.jpg Under "The Fifth Mark: Step 8", you can still teleport out to leave the prison. http://i.imgur.com/dzNgO.jpg
  16. http://open.tip.it/q...-senntisten-the Under Step 11, it says: "Directly to the west, the Frozen Fortress stands". It's actually directly to your east. Under Step 16, it says to grab a hammer if you forgot one. A toolbelt hammer will work for this quest. http://i.imgur.com/eSVFu.jpg http://i.imgur.com/dyTlw.jpg Under Step 22, even though it says to go back to the pedestal you noted earlier, it wouldn't hurt to mention that it's the one located outside, above-ground. Under Step 23, when you try to re-enter the dungeon, you'll be given the option to resume progress where you left it off, or reset your progress and start over. You'll need to resume where you left off. http://i.imgur.com/gxeIH.jpg
  17. http://open.tip.it/q...ain-robbery-the Under Step 2, after donning your diving apparatus and heading into the flooded passageway, your Run will automatically turn off. You can turn it back on as normal (you do not have to walk the entire way). In addition, your toolbelt hammer will work when repairing the stairway. http://i.imgur.com/JNr62.jpg http://i.imgur.com/lIBH9.jpg Under Step 6, the type of cats you make will be "wooden" cats (not sure if this is entirely relevant, but for reasons I cannot recall, I had issues with this). http://i.imgur.com/0c0V5.jpg http://i.imgur.com/g74dG.jpg Under Step 7, when you pick up the Tinderbox, you MUST use an inventory Tinderbox to ignite the fuse; the toolbelt one will not work. http://i.imgur.com/AZ9mz.jpg
  18. http://open.tip.it/q...se-of-arrav-the For Step 1, which gives a common way to reach Nardah, I find the best way is to use the Lodestone teleport to the Bandit Camp, then run east to the Pollivneach-Nardah carpet ride. It's much faster than teleporting to Al Kharid, running south to the Shantay Pass, taking 1 carpet ride, running through Pollivneach, then finally taking the last carpet ride. http://i.imgur.com/rkOBJ.jpg A toolbelt pickaxe will work for this quest. http://i.imgur.com/ofitg.jpg http://i.imgur.com/gEeD4.jpg Under Step 4, it says: "Note that each pile of rubble can only be mined once from each side, and piles of rubble must be mined one to three times to be cleared." Personally it's a bit wordy and slightly unclear; it could be re-worded along the lines: "Every pile of rubble can only be mined once from each side, and must be mined one to three times to be cleared away." Also under Step 4, it says: "and green fall as a result of a cave-in and cannot be mined either." It wouldn't hurt to note that the cave-ins are mandatory to complete the puzzles, and to not be afraid of getting crushed by one. Under Step 5, the order in which you pick up the tablets are: Stone, Granite, Slate and Shale. In the guide, it lists Stone last. http://imgur.com/a/U0lbx Under "Items Required" before Step 9 and at the beginning of the guide, a 1-dose Sacred Oil is not absolute; you may use any dose of Sacred Oil, and the quest will only consume a single dose (assuming you don't destroy your full Canopic Jar) Under Step 9, it says "navigate through Senliten's pyramid in Uzer". The Pyramid is located south of Uzer. For a while I was wandering around Uzer's dungeon, trying to find the Queen, eventually requiring to open up the quest guide for MIssing My Mummy, and finding out I was in the wrong location (I had to open up the quest guide anyways to figure out how to reach the Queen). http://i.imgur.com/JcFB3.jpg For Step 10, I already had all the items for the Canopic Jar beforehand, but I accidentally left-clicked the Dwellberries and ate one.... The guide could note to be careful not to eat it. http://i.imgur.com/TryYz.jpg Under Step 11, it says "Continue through the tunnels, past the Armoured Zombies (protect from melee prayer is again advised, as these are aggressive), until you reach the kitchen." To call it a kitchen is a bit of a stretch, in addition the Cooking Range icon does not appear on the minimap. Instead, it could say to run into the room located directly east of the third metal door. http://i.imgur.com/dq78N.jpg Under Step 13, it says "Summon a Macaw and have it look through the pipe until the guards move away so you can safely crawl through." The zombie guard will automatically move away during the cutscene where you use the Macaw to check the patrols. There is no manipulation of the familiar necessary once you send it through the pipe.
  19. You've misread the sentence. It says "north-east section" not "north-east cell". The guide is only describing where to locate Maria in general, not which cell she's located in. The medallion has 10 charges total, and teleporting to Burgh de Rott places you directly outside the cave where you can effortlessly and freely recharge the medallion. In the rare event that you forget to recharge it and use up the 10th charge, if you've obtained the proper Temple Trekking reward, you can teleport to Burgh de Rott using a Games Necklace, or reach Burgh de Rott by the regular alternatives. By additionally using the Ectophial, you're spending the time to teleport twice and refill the Ectophial, which is roughly the same as teleporting directly and recharging the medallion, but you're using up an inventory space for the Ectophial too (a one-click teleport is handy, but is unnecessary for this quest).
  20. http://open.tip.it/p...ns_workshop.htm The guide does not say that you can earn Respect by defeating the animated suits of armour (the Ancestor monsters) on the ground floor, by the Burial Armour section. The bestiary correctly notes this though. http://i.imgur.com/ulyeQ.jpg http://i.imgur.com/RSzG0.jpg http://i.imgur.com/jl62G.jpg Under the Track Room section, for a while I couldn't figure out how to combine the track pieces. I tried using them on each other, to no avail. In the end I had to talk to the NPC who explained to me that you have to use the pieces on the Anvil (in the order correctly listed in the guide). http://i.imgur.com/gS9BG.jpg http://i.imgur.com/FArOi.jpg
  21. http://open.tip.it/q...22-void-dance-a In Step 3, it says to search for a 'Broken anchor cellar key'. It's actually a 'Rusty anchor cellar key'. http://i.imgur.com/2UvWO.jpg In Step 3, it says that Jessika notices a crack in the wall. She actually doesn't, she just happens to be standing beside it. http://i.imgur.com/3Nc5h.jpg In Step 3 and Items Required, a Pickaxe on your toolbelt is all you need. http://i.imgur.com/OyjdG.jpg (kinda hard to tell I'm using a Pickaxe, the wall graphics ate it) http://i.imgur.com/L3jtx.jpg In the second paragraph of Step 3, Jessika's name is misspelt as 'Jesskia'. Under the Beer Barrel video in Step 3, it should place the NOTE before it tells you to go back to the Void Knight boat. I unfortunately did not read this far ahead (and didn't notice the big NOTE either...) and told the bartender the truth (causing me to earn a black tally when I intended to earn white tallies for everything). In the first paragraph of Step 4, it says to grab the tools off the table. It should note that you also grab the materials needed for the job as well (the plank and log). http://i.imgur.com/LCyPf.jpg http://i.imgur.com/jeltJ.jpg In the second paragraph of Step 5, the instructions on how to operate the experiment should be a little clearer (it took me several tries before I realized what I had to do). This has to do with the 'current state' of the sample. 'If they're the same then you're good to go' sounds slightly confusing as if you could only start the experiment if the upper left window sample pictures are the same. 'you're good to go' should be changed to something like 'don't worry about it until the "Turn sample into" picture changes' 'If not, you'll have to add materials to the Sample hopper that you're given to complete the experiment. To figure out what you need to add, follow the guide at the top right of the screen.' Slightly misleading wording and sentence structure could be rearranged to be less confusing. Something like 'If not, look at the Reactions table in the upper right corner, locate your current sample material in the left column and the desired product in the right column, then add the third listed material from that row into the Hopper (example written here because I can't remember any of the item names).' Under the second/third paragraph of Step 6, rather than have a player refer to the Falador Castle map and try to locate Sir Amik Varze, just say that he's located on the second floor (third floor USA) on the west side. In Step 7 under the picture of the map, the onion patch isn't exactly south it's more like south-southeast, and the man is located directly to the northeast of the patch, right outside the southern entrance to the Clan Camp (it's possible he may wander a bit farther from the entrance, but for me he was directly outside it). Also, after 'You'll be given a prompt to use an emote', place a colon or semi-colon after this instead of a period. http://i.imgur.com/unZ78.jpg In Step 8, when it says you have to kill the Black Knight Guardian, Korasi will also fight her own Guardian. Upon defeating your Guardian she will automatically defeat hers no matter how much health it has left. I don't know what'll happen if she defeats hers first, or if it's possible for the Guardian to even defeat her.
  22. http://open.tip.it/quests/view/220-quiet-before-the-swarm In Step 10, it should mention to bank all your items before speaking to Tiffy, so that you can be immediately teleported to the HQ after meeting with Korasi. Pretty minor stuff, but it's interesting to mention. Before speaking to Jessika and accusing her of releasing a pest onto the mainland, speak to everyone else to get interesting responses to what you accuse them of: Terry broke his mother's vase and Ami stole her sister's money (and for some reason, you're allowed to accuse DIana of stealing from herself...). http://imgur.com/a/Vqj1v
  23. http://open.tip.it/q...ithin-the-light For required items, the Hatchet and Knife can be on your toolbelt; you don't have to carry them in your inventory. http://i.imgur.com/Va2yH.jpg http://i.imgur.com/wAfNj.jpg In several of the Bank boxes, it has suggested items such as Ardougne Teleport runes or Elf Crystal (a charged version is called 'Teleport Crystal'), even though these aren't listed at the beginning of the guide; the Ardougne Home Teleport can also be substituted. In addition, the Wicked Hood or access to the Abyss can be used to access the Death altar in the event than you forgot to rotate the mirror back so you can enter the Death altar from the temple side (the Abyss method is mentioned in the Tips section). I'm not sure if you can lead Arianwyn to the altar by directly teleporting there via the Wicked Hood. http://i.imgur.com/oX0mT.jpg For Step 3, it wouldn't hurt to mention that the Mourner Headquarters is in the north-east corner of West Ardougne, in the event that a player has forgotten where it's located. Also, it could mention that you can't wear equipment than the Mourner set in order to enter (easily remedied by unequipping the extra items, although rings are an exception). http://i.imgur.com/kEhTV.jpg For Step 3, it says to go into the south-western room. This is slightly confusing (but probably unnecessary) because there's only one other room besides the main room, and it's located on the western side (I'd avoid saying north-western corner, since there's also the outside fenced-in part of the building). http://i.imgur.com/MmPGy.jpg At the end of Step 3, you're able to talk to the Head Mourner and suggest whether to release the Gnome or suggest to keep a closer eye on him (mentioned in the Tips section). Your character makes mention of it during dialogue with Arianwyn if you do. After Step 3, it makes a note that if the Tarnished key is in your bank, you'll have to retrieve it from there. It should mention this in the Required Items at the beginning of the guide, so a player won't have to go all the way back to the bank to retrieve it, then come back to the tunnel. For Step 5, the fact that Arianwyn will attack Shadows for you should be mentioned earlier in the step, before you enter the Temple (and he'll inflict a perfect 150 damage every time...). Step 5 mentions that the Crystal Trinket might be in your bank. Again, should be noted in the Required Items section at the beginning of the guide. Step 6 says to investigate a 'Strange shaking pillar'. It's actually called an 'Energised pillar' (but it's fine if you still describe it as shaking). http://i.imgur.com/wzOrd.jpg Step 9 says you'll receive a Colour Wheel if you search the dead slave. If you already have one in your bank, you won't receive one, but it should be mentioned that the Colour Wheel is not mandatory to complete the quest anyways (to prevent a player from scrambling and teleporting out to retrieve it, like I did...). http://i.imgur.com/Wyvfl.jpg (note I dropped the Colour Wheel before rotating the core) Step 11 mentions a 'light wheel'. Pretty sure it meant 'colour wheel'. For Step 13, really minor but the 'Elf body' is actually an 'Elf messenger'. http://i.imgur.com/mu8mB.jpg Under Rewards, it says to speak to Eluned to enchant your Teleport Crystals to allow you to teleport to the Temple of Light. This technically isn't a listed reward, so it should be moved to the Tips section. Also, it should note that it will ADDITIONALLY allow you to teleport to the temple; initially I thought it would completely replace the crystal's ability to teleport to Lletya, but I thought it unlikely, and it turns out I was thankfully correct. EDIT: I retract my statement, I'd consider this a reward instead of a tip. http://i.imgur.com/b2I9o.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Pxi1S.jpg EDIT: Quick add-on, in the Suggested Items section you should bring a weapon, since the Shadow guarding the mirror near the Energised pillar will keep attacking you, plus it can be used to attack the Mourners if you need the Mourner set (if you can kill a Mourner with a single hit, he won't drain your stats). EDIT: In Step 9, it says 'a' twice ("Search the dead slave on the ground for a a colour wheel").
  24. http://open.tip.it/quests/view/208-fur-n-seek During subquest 1, under the heading "Collecting the Remains", the written location of (Adult) Black Unicorns is incorrect. They're not south-east of Rellekka's entrance, they're north-east of it, along the eastern border of the city (see the minimap below it). Also, (Adult) White Unicorns could be written as being "south-east of Rellekka's entrance" instead of "west of the Rellekka Slayer dungeon", due to their spacious distance from the dungeon entrance.
  25. http://open.tip.it/q...e-piercing-note In Step 4, when you hear the scream, the guide says to run through the kitchen and dining hall. This is impossible because the door to the kitchen is locked at this time. Instead you'll have to run through the main chapel and through the western side door to get to the basement http://i.imgur.com/eGpOn.jpg After you finish the quest, if you talk to Sister Celia in the main chapel, and advise her to leave the abbey, she will do so, and disappear from the main chapel to become a musician with Valerio. http://i.imgur.com/YfD1A.jpg http://i.imgur.com/0okPt.jpg
