jade_slayer6
I'm trying to get all 85 melée stats so I can at least be useful on GWD trips. I've almost got 70 prayer and 85 attack. I have full guthans and was wondering if I could just do afk bandits since you can train defence with guthans. About how long would 81-85 defense take at bandits? And should I just stick with slayer? Thanks :D
RayOxide
Ask yourself; Do I have enough MONEY to be useful at GWD? If you dont, do some slayer or some proper goldfarming stuff. If you do, dont fail at bandits cause they're so very low on xp rates in comparison to some new thingers. I dont need a siggy no moar.

Kellis
Fishing monks, green dragons, aviansies . . . you know, boring and repetitive tasks that earn large amounts of money. Killing green drags might be decent if you need to lay your hands on some money because it will also put at least some mediocre experience towards your melee stats as well. RayOxide
Mine are much different to ones I expect you can probably do, so dont ask me :? I do hear Range-praying against the dags in the chaos tunnels is good though. (or green drags) @Kellis, I think they have to involve combat. :\ I dont need a siggy no moar. Kellis
Armored Zombies are great if you've got the Salve(e) ammy and you've started the Defender of Varrock quest. They can give up to 190k exp/hour (I'm fairly sure on that number), and a consistent profit. There are a few guides in the AoW on them, too - I believe that a good one is on the first page of the general guides.
jade_slayer6
Steel dragons maybe?
Kellis
I'd say  on steel drags, the profit is iffy and unreliable and there are much better/faster ways of earning experience and money. And don't bank on getting a visage drop. Might as well go farm level 2 men for the left half of the dragon shield.
RayOxide
Green dragons; Proselyte set, (neiti helm), whip, glory/fury, ADFS / DFS, dragon boots, best cape you have and best gloves. Chaos tunnels. Bring 1 prayer potion and pray melee, and pwn some dragonz. Armoured zombies are well worth the time though. I dont need a siggy no moar. RayOxide
Imo, more efficient than bringing too much or too little food whilst getting piled by 3 baby black dragons, a green dragon and 5+ more baby blacks on you but not attacking. I dont need a siggy no moar.
pureprayer
Prayer pot is 7-8k almost full inv of monks is that same much. I use the green dragon to block the baby black dragons. There only like lvl 63, and you forgot the spade may attack you also. Pureprayer, you're awesome.
RayOxide
With my gear setup, without flicking pray all I need is 2 doses. But i take 4 and make my prayer 5 or lower before I go back. Shadow spiders just waste prayer. I dont need a siggy no moar.

Shadow spiders just waste prayer. Err, yes where did shadow spiders come from? Even half of a prayer pot is more than the food needed. Half of one is 3-4k but you also lose out on 2k for the extra inventory space for bringing the half-potion back. Pureprayer, you're awesome. Cptbaker08
If you haven't guessed by now, there are two places to kill Green Dragons in the CT. One has to deal with going through the spiders ray mentioned. RayOxide
So its 3.5k for 2 doses of pray potion. You take say 12 pineapple pizzas (520 ea), and only need.. 5. 7 wasted. 7 x 520 = 3640 And anyway Dragons are much too random and I find prayer potions and one pizza good. I dont need a siggy no moar.

I find a flaw in your error. First of all those 7 wasted make room for 7 d bones/hides and what if i take lobsters or monkfish? Also however much food I need isnt very random so if i bring 12 and need 5 next trip i can bring 7 or something. Pureprayer, you're awesome.
